Ouch. I almost feel sorry for Rodolphus. Wonderful use of description, especially the "Muggle fads" rug. Loved the emotions, his love for her at the beginning, their sorrow of losing a child, his horror at the suspicion that she was being unfaithful, his helplessness when he finds out the truth. Nicely done!

Wow ... this is an excellent story. Very nice descriptions of the characters. I felt sympathy for Rodolphus - he really can't do anything to get out of his situation without ending up dead; all he can do is shield his heart. It also would explain why Voldemort only takes Bellatrix with him when he leave the Ministry in Book 5.
