I also enjoyed this. Ha. :) I like the way Petunia compared Harry with Lily, how she thought blood counts more above all. I also adore your use of repetitive phrases; makes things more dramatic. ;)
Ever since I read the beginning of the OoTP, I wanted to read a story in which Petunia gives some sign of being, however remotely, in some way connected to her sister and the wizarding world. I wanted her to show some intrest in Harry's life at Hogwarts, even if it was just "You didn't get into trouble, did you?" I mean, year after year horrible things keep hapening to him, people keep trying to kill him, people he cares about die. And not once does he tell them, and not once do they ask. Thank you, isidore13, for this story.
I really enjoyed this. There's so much I could mention about why I enjoyed this ~ but mainly because the subjects of death and love were sensitively thought and written about, and as Harry has grown up, Petunia would definitely be more aware of his similarities to Lily. It was also really nice to find a familiar story tackled from the perspective of an 'outsider'.
Wow ... never before seen a story from Petunia's view. I think it's quite realistic that Harry would be changed after Book 5, that he should be more mature; after you see someone die, little things like household chores aren't such a big deal. Good story!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! :)
