Hello! Sorry about the delay to review, but I have been extremely busy lately. Anyway, this was a very good perception of a Dementor. Your writing of it was very chilling and almost detached - as I could imagine a Dementor narrator being. Your word usage weaves a complex undertone of despair to your story that I feel carries over well. I particularly liked the views you emphasized in a dementors life being prejudice and that Lord Voldemort offers new oppurtunities. I guess that in a way Lord Voldemort could be seen as the more liberal of a stricter society. Unfortunately, some of his liberal views, aren't so good for Muggleborns. ;) The only real complaint that I have is that the story was too short. There also didn't seem to be an obvious point to the one-shot. While I liked it and it was very well written, I would recommend forming some reason for the one-shot next time. It doesn't have to be a complex plot, per se, but perhaps an instance were something occured that could cause the Dementor to muse things over on his own. Or even a dementors thoughts before a Kiss is performed, or while in Azkaban. The story is good, but could have been much better and stronger if given a reason for being created. Nonetheless, it was a very thought provoking, if despairing ;), read! ~Tiffany FAP Niffler

Author's Response: Wow, thanks! I think that it is completely creepy too! I get shivers when I read over it. It feels as though the Dementor is talking to me, even though I gave him the voice with which to speak. Thanks for taking the to review!
