Oh, and P.S., Based on the pace you've set so far, I'm looking for another 25 chapters or so. ;-)
OK, so I understand that you probably wrote this before Book 7 was published and that now that JKR has had her final, and magnificent, say you may have lost interest, or heart, BUT - you can't leave us hanging like this! I mean, after all, Hagrid has been freaking attacked and Snape might have a girlfriend or something and will there be a Dark Mark over Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes when the twins return, Oh no poor Lee! Forge ahead. Your characterizations are strong and true to the characters as we have come to know and love them. You have a fine eye for detail. Your additions to the Wizarding World, such as FireRock whatever it was, are brilliant. And your plot is compelling. Come on gurl, you got da bat an' you got da swing - step up to the plate and finish this sucker off. I want more!
Wow I liked this one too! I am glad that Harry is respectful of Snape. I like that your Harry takes responsibility for his actions at the MOM, and generally moderating his own behavior. The burden of the prophecy and it's ultimate conclusion has to make all the other burdens pale by comparison. Grief for Sirius, his own anger and guilt would still play a role, but not overshadow his goals. Finally his place on the board has been defined, and I think that you capture really well so far the journey that he will have to make. Really good! Can't wait for more....
I think this is really facinating so far! I liked how the energy stayed high and engaging the whole chapter. I am really looking forward to more! I wish somehow that Harry would find a different way to compare his grief with Lupins. He kinda whines! Anyway Loved it! Keep it up!
