I post on FictionAlley every week, because since the beginning, I have faithful readers who review each time a new chapter appears (which is really great).
On Lumos, people read but only few review (I hate that!). So I only post a new chapter on Lumos when a reader posts a comment (which shows he respects my work). I have already posted many chapters in a row without having any comment, so I decided that to feed the readers, I had to be fed back. ^^ It's my way to resist to oppression! LOL

Hey! I really liked this chapter! It explained a lot! By the way, whoever that was that left the mean review on Chpt. 35, they were wrong, you were right! I really like Kat. She is not a flat character! I only hope she'll end up letting Severus help her and that she'll finally realize she was wrong! I assume,(which makes an ass out of you and me, ha ha! sorry, I couldn't resist!), you have a reason for not letting Severus and Kat have sex, make love, whatever you want to call it, besides the mark thing. Because Severus is a Wizard and he can cast a glamour to hide the mark from Kat. Please, don't tell me that during this great love affair, they don't have sex at least once! It wouldn't be natural, especially considering their age!! Everybody has sex at that age!! (at least everybody I know !) Anyway, I'm outa here! Keep up the good work! Until next time!

About sex... well... it will bring a lot of tension (all sorts of tension ^^). It will be a real problem and create quarrels. Explanations in Chapter 37, (more about Katarina's attitude, and a "bastard reaction" from Snape.)

Severus and Sirius can both be such prats!! I used to have a boyfriend like Severus.... anytime any guy said hello or called or came by to visit, he went off the deep end. With that and the not spending any time together, I'd have to kick him(Severus) to the curb! No matter how much I loved him! Why is it again that Severus isn't acting all lovey with Kat? If I was gonna be killed if my relationship failed, I think I'd have to do something to make sure it didn't!! I couldn't find your mean review, but whatever they said forget it! You're an excellent writer and you tell a great story, so just tell whoever it was to go Avada Kedavra themselves!! Update soon, please! I promise I'll try to be more timely!

BTW, I got two mean reviews from the same person. The first one (very mean) was in the reviews for Chapter 17, and the second one (softer, but not kind), was in the reviews for Chapter 35. They both angered me, but the first one was the worst... ^^

Someone made an awful (and really, really mean) comment to me on Lumos, so I was really upset. I wonder if it was just stupidity or wickedness that made that person review. Probably both.
My review neither was neither awful nor mean. It was accurate. Katarina has the potential to be a very good character. As she is currently written, she is far-fetched. I posted the review to point out some of the problems that make her character so flat.
Author's Response: Well, it is your opinion. You're the only one who thinks that (and I got more than 400 reviews). Actually, readers definitely loved the points that you hated. They said that my main character was a great character, precisely because she was deconcerting and entire. No, your review was not accurate at all. You didn't understand anything of the story. My character is flat? You should learn how to read. My main character is tortured because of her past with Snape. You missed the whole thing. Now I'd like you not to review again on my story. I don't need to be discouraged by ONE person when I have the entire support of plenty other people.
Author's Response: Saying that my character is flat is like saying that Johnny Deep in "Pirates of the Caribbean" or Dark Vador or flat. Nonsense. For your information, the recurrent remark about her was that she was very funny, original, and spicy.

Okay, I'm going to review.
Basically, this is a good story. Or, it could be. I'm not trying to be rude or hurt your feelings. I am just being honest. I like Katrina (or I could) but she is just so...fake, cardboard...I really don't know exactly how to explain it. She could be a really fantastic character but she seems like a joke. Why is she stomping around all: I am powerful! I will torture you to death! I will kill you! You'll be sorry! I am powerful! You'll pay for that! I am powerful! Don't call me katrina or you'll be sorry! I am powerful!
Are we supposed to take her seriously? I guess she is powerful, but so what? Does she have to keep saying it over and over and over? I'm surpirsed McGonagall or Snape hasn't told her to "shut up already!" But then she would just reply, "You'll be sorry! I am powerful!" Jeeze
I guess you are trying to show us that she is powerful! and scary but it isn't comming out like that. She's reallly loosing her credibility. Is she supposed to be funny when she goes off on one of her rants? I'm not sure what to think. If anything, she is annoying. When she acts like that she's almost as bad as Sybil. I wish someone would say, "Okay, Professor Burns, we know you're powerful...can we talk about something else now?"
Maybe this is why you aren't getting very many riviews? If I feel this way I'm sure others have noticed the same thing. Honestly, I only continued this story because I've read almost everything else and I hoped that this would get better as the chapters progressed.
It is okay for her to be powerful and scary and angry but does she have to keep saying it over and over?

I actually have many wonderful reviews on another site (people who love this story and love my main character). People don't review on Lumos, just because it's Lumos. I don't force you to read. In fact, I think you should not read my story at all, and definitely stop to review. Your pseudonym is really well chosen though: blah_blah_blah is what I think when I read your review... It's full of nothingness. I guess it's the stupidest review I've ever read on a site (and it's not even because it's about my story). You missed the whole thing. Pity for you.

I've read the half blood prince... which snape in her book is quite a bit different than snape here, if u know what i mean. She makes him out to be a villian. and here he is completely non-villain-ish. also, JKR makes it seem like Sirius was just this gorgeous guy that all the girls were looking at. So to think of him getting rejected for snape... weird.
ohh and then in JKR's book, snape is this horrible man, and sirius was working for the order. So well first off, sirius is my favorite character, so him dyeing in the last book killed me. I LOVE sirius. I find my self feeling so sorry for him because of burns. Weird, hua? Well you know u write a good story when i'm feeling bad for the characters...
Author's Response: Although I haven't read HBP yet, I've heard that Rowling was cruel with Snape. (it's unfair!) I definitely cried a lot when Sirius died in OoTP (which was unfair too). So I think that Rowling is an unfair person (lol). Anyway, I wanted to show a different aspect from Snape's personality. Not entirely black, but not entirely white either (you'll see what I mean in the next chapters). It's the same for Sirius Black. In fact, the characters are just human I think. But for once, we can listen to Snape's voice and understand why he hates Sirius so much. Sirius can be adorable, but he can sometimes be an awful prat too. It's just a question of points of view! Thanks for the review!!!
