Wow...it is very difficult to pull of first-person present-tense. You have done it with amazing skill. I felt like I was really there, and could almost feel the cold, wet, leaves under my feet. Your power of description is so thorough, yet still leaves you with a feeling of mystery. Very, very beautiful writing.
And, if this is a story which will heavily involve Lucius Malfoy, you might consider posting it on the Pureblood archive, specifically for stories about the Malfoys. I'll be checking back for updates, this is amazing so far. I'm intrigued to learn why Lucius is so kind here...he can seem so evil, and so cruel, but there's still enough mystery about him that I'm wondering what it is about her to make him act like this. Great job!
