This was one of the first stories I read when I came to this site some time ago, and I'm glad to reread it again. It must be very hard for Muggle parents to let their special children go someplace where they can not follow, and especially for someone whom we know will have two children go. I see that the story was posted in 2005; the story is made more poignant as the series has ended and we know Colin's fate.

JKR doesn't give us much insight into the feelings of the parents of the Muggle-born children, does she? Not even Hermione's parents are considered.
