This fan girlie feels very honored by this poem; that someone understands what its all about. (My family sure doesn't; you did an excellent job quoting them!). However, there's one line I don't don't understand: "While BNA rose and fell". Please enlighten me!

What a funny, well done poem! Inspired by Charge of the Light Brigade? Now I'll have to read it.

It's wonderful! Somehow you've managed to combine the humour with Tennyson's tragic heroism. I've always felt he over-romanticised what was a bloody massacre, but this is perfect!

Wow, that is perhaps the most interesting original poem I have read in a long time. And all I can muster is a "true dat!" LOL. But hey, they are not all fangurls... they are also fanboyz, just not so many of them, you see. I give you a ten for originality, and twenty points to... whichever house you are from. LOL. Late.

I feel like Tennyson must be spinning in his grave. The mouth of plagiarism, eh? *snorts*

Very witty. I love the way you can read it on at least half a dozen different levels-- it is, at once, sympathetic and demeaning to fangurls, ficwriters and the fandom in general. Quite an accomplishment in six stanzas.

Bravo.

Author's Response: *laughs* Ah. Well. Demeaning only in a... uh... very definite SELF depreciating way! *nods* But yes, I'm sure that Tennyson must be spinning in his grave!
