This is a great AU story to read, especially after reading all seven of the canon books. The "what if" factors are very good, and we know that Snape was headmaster for a while. Here, at least, Lupin lives, and the wizarding world is as dark as one would imagine it might have been if things had gone otherwise.

God, you're right, that was dark, but brilliantly written. Quite chilling, the entire atmosphere. A frightening thought as to the aftermath of battle.

That was a well thought out story! You had me guessing the entire time and even at the end, I was just floored. Very impressive. I kept thinking to myself, 'Yes, it's Hermione.
