This gave me goosebumps as I read it. I love the way you've mixed world history and wizarding history together for the story's setting. Minverva's mother's love for her daughter is quite palpable and lovely.

Excellent, just excellent. Just enough backstory to hook us and you left just enough out to raise interigue. It work as a one shot or as the opener to a multi-chapter story.

Excellent stuff. I particularly enjoyed the way that you meshed the lyrics with the story, very tastefully I might add! I think that you captured the emotions of a mother in wartime very well, especially the last few paragraphs. Great story.
