Very nicely done. I liked how you didn't ever reveal specifically who the subject was. It remained a mystery throughout, and if I hadn't clicked on your profile and read the summary, I wouldn't have had my suspicions confirmed. From the italicized lyrics, I'm assuming that this is a song? Quite fitting. It has a restrained, haunting quality, and a sobering message. I particularly liked how at the end, nothing has really changed, but he doesn't feel so helpless about it.
