Great! I really liked this. i love my SS/HG but this is a great OFC story.
Nice story - liked it.
Only one teensie snag - aerosol cans won't explode in a microwave, since the can is made of metal, and microwaves can't penetrate metal
This was simply amazing. Your portrayal of Hestia was exquisite and as a roleplayer that uses Hestia frequently it is always great to see Hestia through a different person's mind. I am in love with this story.
It made my bleeding day.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Shiny! I've written about her and Emmeline Vance and I love the chance to explore lesser-known characters. I'm so glad you feel I did her justice. That makes my bleeding day!

I really liked this story. Hestia, along with Sturgis, is one of the members of the OotP I would really like to get to know better. This was a great introduction. You gave us a bunch of backstory but it wasn't forced or artifical in anyway. The fact you had Snape interested in her already made it flow well. The nose itching thing was a great touch.
Author's Response: Thank you, Alesia G! I'm so happy you enjoyed this! I hope one day to continue it. :-)
~Lisa/LariLee
This was a great story. Princess has made me think twice about my adversity to small dogs. The line, "However, to have her idea criticized by her archenemy -- even if Nymphadora Tonks did not realize she was her archenemy -- well, that was too much," was great. And, I'm curious. It lists this as "not finished," so, there's more? Great!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Lauranotlora! I was not a small dog fan until I owned one. So far, I'm leaving it open to return to one day, but I've got two works in progress at Occlumency and another at Ashwinder. But I'd really like to continue this. Here's to hoping!
~Lisa/LariLee
Not only did I read the story, I read the reviews this was so good. So where's Snape's POV?
Author's Response: Thank you so much, looneyluna! I'm actually working on a Snape piece, but it all depends on the bunnies. It's what I get for allowing them to roam free.
~Lisa
Lovely! I hope you continue with this one and keep me busy for months!
Ever want to sell one of your bunnies?HA HA HA! ~ Nyx
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Nyx! The way my bunnies breed, I could practically give them away. I'm almost continuing this one. I've got some ideas and we'll see where they head.
~Lisa
Wonderful story (as are all your fics), well-written, believable and engaging. And if you happen to write a sequel, I may just become an SS/HJ shipper... *grin*
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Lorena Snape! You know, I'm halfway working on a sequel... it's among my WiPs to do. Thanks!
~Lisa
I enjoyed reading this!
Author's Response: Thank you!
~Lisa
It is so nice to see some witches have good taste and are interested in more than just SexGod!Severus. Hestia is wonderfully fleshed out as a character, especially for such a short story. And Princess, well what is there to say. I do believe my Silky Terrier, Sydney, is in love with her. I'm also very fond of InsecureSnape. Would love to hear his side of the story. So glad we have you around to tend to his love life and not just his sex life. I mean, THERE is a man who just desperately needs to be hugged!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, MoreThanSirius! I enjoyed writing Hestia so much that I would love to do another chapter in this, if only from Snape's perspective. And I have to admit there is blatant Mary-Sueism here -- Princess is my dog, Mitzi. I am just so happy you enjoyed this!
~Lisa
That was a very nice story. Quite real, I could see Snape interested with her. Undoubtedly he has also considered who he might get together with. I don't know if she's the only one who hasn't expressed disdain for him, or what -- your explanation for an earlier review is definitely in character.
Author's Response: Thank you, BJ1! I'm certainly glad you enjoyed this. :-)
~Lisa
That was such a sweet ficlet! I'm happy I finally got the chance to read it. Hestia proved to be a very captivating character and in such a short story I already like her. Maybe you could use her in a longer fic perhaps?
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Lana! I'm actually working on a second chapter Snape's POV. The plot bunnies keep nibbling me on this one. :-)
~Lisa
Congratulations, Lisa! And three cheers for Ms. Hestia Jones--a little recognition and a Snape to boot; what more could a witch want? Having once been the part-owner of a small dog actually called Princess *winces* I very much enjoyed the canine antics, especially Snape referring to her as a "furry rat." I also enjoyed the Jones/Tonks rivalry.
Author's Response: Thank you, Grainne! What is wrong with calling a little dog Princess? Of course, mine answers to "Heathen-butt" as well as her name Mitzi. Actually, she answers to The Cat's name as well. :-) I'm so glad you enjoyed this!
~Lisa
Nice story... great Snape portial!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, AMRA! I'm glad you liked it!
~Lisa
Dear LariLee,
This was an absolutely increadible story. I simply loved it, from the beginning to the end. The way you entered Het=stia's world... I will always see her the way you described her. My canon world has just become a bit more fanon.
I especially enjoyed her thoughts about men and women - and her dislike of Tonks. Yes, the pretty and the clever girls ;) How good I am both pretty, clever and modest.
Greetings from Poland,
Novinha
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Novinha! That is the highest praise you could possibly give me. I had great fun with Hestia. I'm hoping to do a follow-up chapter from Severus. Thank you again!
~Lisa
Nice story. Hestia is a character I can absolutely identify with. But somehow I'd like to see Severus' POV about why he is attrated to her. She seems to be too normal, to nice to attract him. But let us see what you have in mind.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, apisa_b! I'm actually working on a second chapter from Severus to explain exactly why he's attracted to her, but it has a lot to do with the fact that she can present an image in public that's nice and normal for the Wizarding world, it in the privacy of her home she dances around and does what she wants. In other words, she plays a game similar to what he does. I'm really working on a second chapter. I just don't know when I'll get it completed. :-)
~Lisa
I loved the line about not knowing which he found worse, Muggle, Horror, or Novel, it made me chuckle. Your characterization of Snape was excellent as always. Very nice work.
Author's Response: Thank you, Vanityfair! I can't help but, I love Snape. :-) I'm so glad you enjoyed this!
~Lisa
***Claps****
OMG this is so funny. I just love it, especially the whole exploding microwave but. So now, just one questions... when are we gonna see more?
Author's Response: ***bows, because I can't spell curtsey***
Thank you so much, celisnebula! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I am trying to his second chapter from Snape's POV, and hopefully it will be up when I finish it. :-)
~Lisa
I really enjoyed your description of the house and its quirks; it added much to the sense of her rich solitary life. Hestia herself is a believable character; what I don't find plausible is that Snape is interested in her. She is so mousy that it would take many more pages of approach and interaction to show me what he might see in her. The story is nicely plotted, and the oven-cleaner-in-the-meecrow-ave trick is one I'll keep in mind in case of Death Eaters in my own house.
Author's Response: Thank you, lookfar. I'm working on the second chapter will be from Snape's point of view. You'll understand why he's attracted to her. And I hope the oven-cleaner-in-the-meecrow-ave saves your life as well!
~Lisa
"Congratulations on yur honorable mention!" Make that your. You know I'm obsessive-compulsive. :-D
Author's Response: You can be OCD, Vocalion, if it means leaving me a second review. :-)
~Lisa
I absolutely loved this story! It's nice to see the underdog get some attention for a change. And the way Severus got folks to pay attention to her idea was inspired. Well done! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much, PlaidPooka! I'm starting to see a more manipulative side to Dumbledore, so I suspect they've done similar tricks in the past. I'm glad you liked it!
~Lisa
Oh, how sweet! I love it! I loved everybody in the fic (well, except the Death Eaters, and Bill got on my nerves ;-D). You did a wonderful job with Hestia as the Ravenclaw nobody sees. And your Snape is lovely, as always. So glad that this plot bunny bit you in time for the faire! Congrats on the nod by the Wizengamot. You deserve it! ;-D Best, Sophie
Author's Response: Thank you, sophierom! I'm trying hard to look past the Harry filter in the books and to view things from a more adult eye. Characters like Bill and Sirius Black are so appealing to those who were young, but maturity shows them to have some faults... some that aren't worth putting up with. And thank you!
~Lisa
Not a bad pair to ship! Very enjoyable and you really did a great job with Hestia's character. Congratulations on yur honorable mention!
Author's Response: Thank you very much, vocalion! Congratulations on your honorable mention as well! I'm glad you enjoyed this!
~Lisa
Wonderful job! Very believable characters-- I love your portrayal of Hestia, and Snape was so endearing. Congratulations!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Razzberry! I really hope we see more of Hestia in HBP, and I'm so glad you liked my Snape. Thanks again!
~Lisa
Oh, LariLee, you've done it again! You've managed to make me smile and laugh! I'm always the one in the meeting you blurts out the most 'out there' idea and I always have it squashed...it was so good to see Hesta's idea championed by our dark hero...I had to laugh at the doggie cleaning spell! What a great way to handle that unseemly problem! LOL! The image of the wild woman dance around the bonfire of ex's belongings was classic! This is a terrifically entertaining story! Well deserving of the Wizengamot nod--and more!
Author's Response: Thank you, SeaIsleWitch! You and I should have been in the same meetings, because they would have to take one of our ideas. :-) Have you ever had an ex whose possessions you wanted to burn? I did, so I lived vicariously through Hestia. Thank you very much!
~Lisa
