"The loss of the last person on the face of the earth that he had been able to be completely honest with." This is a wonderful insight, and makes so much sense with what we know after HBP, especially.
All these portrayals were brutally honest, yet believable. I do suspect that Remus indeed doubted Sirius' loyalties and though I don't like it, I can also see Molly as viewing him as "expendable."
Lovely!
Author's Response: Thank you, redvelvetcanopy! I am thrilled that you took the time to leave me such feeback, and I agree with you on Molly--I don't like to think it, but I think it is true.
I liked it, Vaughn, especially the Snape part. You captured his attitude well. Ah, if we could only wipe the slate clean sometimes. Nicely done!
Author's Response: Thank you very much, SeaIsleWitch! I'm very flattered that you took the time to read this [and if anyone here likes Pansy/Draco, I highly recommend SeaIsleWitch's series on Pureblood.]
A very nice piece, Vaughn! I like the different perspectives; those of Severus and Dumbledore were particularly brilliant! You shine once more, my dearest!
Author's Response: Thank you, dearest! I really appreciate that you took a look at this for me; I've been fretting about it ever since it was posted, and your comments made my day!
Great little story! The various ways in which the different characters reacted made me really long to see them interacting with one another. I particularly liked Remus' reaction to the death, since it was so surprising to hear that he fakes being a nice guy - and yet that fits him very well, and is plausible.
Author's Response: Hi mouse! Thank you for reading this, and I'm thrilled that you understood where I was taking Remus, as I was worried it was a little over the top. I really appreciate your feedback :)
