good story!! reminded me of 'wishmaster'.. but er...what does the ending mean? that last sentence stumped me badly, im ashamed to say....
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it, although I don't know Wishmaster. The ending was supposed to be a indication that life does continue. Sorry if it was confusing.
Very nice (but oh so true) irony. :) I was wondering, though. What was the offer?
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the story. I never fully decided on the offer, since I liked the open ending, but it was likely an offer to help Snape spy.
A very, very nice take on "The Monkey's Paw" story! While I "saw" the answer to the first wish, the second and third were still a bit of a surprise. Nicely resolved. What an ending, too! All in all, an enjoyable read.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Once I started, I could "see" all three wishes, and their results.
Monkey's Paws are so much fun. ;-)
Excellent how one's wishes can turn out so badly once materialized. Makes me think of the old saying, 'Be careful what you wish for.' I think you completely nailed Pettigrew. He was perfect. And I am dying to know Snape's proposition. Perhaps HE wants to purchase the pay from Draco?
Author's Response: That was exactly the point of the story. :)
Snape certainly doesn't want the paw from Draco! He's too smart for that.
Oh, yes - more please! I quite liked how the wishes came true ... didn't Draco ever hear that you should be careful what you wish for?
Author's Response: I suspect that Draco thinks that such rules don't apply to him; something which may change with Book 7.
Oooh I'm the first review!!!
I like this... delicious irony. Will you be adding more? I'd like to see how Draco reacts to the proposition. Although it's good as a stand alone.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. My arm's being twisted (*grin*), so I'll probably be writing more.
