poor baby, poor poor harry, i bet thats just how he feels some days. but hes usualy stronger than that, and he's found love in his magic world. and its worth fighting for, but even heros have bad days.

Author's Response: I completely agree, mother of alchemy. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and comment!

Aw, this is such a nice bittersweet "exercise in nostalgia"! I wonder if Neo would have thought the same? ;o) I like your image of being the hunter and hunted at the same time; very nice!

Author's Response: Thank you, Zarharia! Without your encouragement and support, I don't know where I'd be :)

It's heartbreaking, but I don't blame him, and I don't think that anyone could convince him any differently at this point. At least the former threat was well-defined, and he knew what was expected of him. Now he's the bearer of a godawful destiny that no one seems to know how to help him fulfill. I'd want to play backsies with that "no" too. It's impressive that you managed to paint bleakness and despair so palpably in such a short fic. The last two lines of the fic are so poignant. Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you, RaeWhit! That's exactly how I see it too, and I am happy it came across.
