What an original dark little piece. I really like stories that capture the internal workings of the characters, and seeing as Severus is one of my favourites, I just had to read. Such an enticing piece ~ I agree that hopefully, this will be similar to canon at the end of the 7th.

I couldn't not read a Snape story.
Actually it;s somewhat similar to my own half-written Snape story, but then again, great minds do think alike.
Not asleep yet, sadly.
Loved the detail - nothing like a detail to make a story touching ;) and the idea. Yes, Snape and fidelity. It was beautiful. And somewhat along the lines of what I think may be the canon.

Wow, you can do emotion. Quite a glimpse into Snape's head, this is. There's a couple spots where plausibility could use a support or two, but overall it's quite good. Especially the tie-in with the two rats. Good work!
