I love the way you write Viktor, so sweet and gentlemanly, and Hermione is right in character, overthinking like crazy. I want a happy ending for Viktor too! (It's funny, I expected to see an increase of Viktor/Hermione stories right after GoF was released, but it wasn't until the DVD release that it actually happened.)
It's interesting... you write that Viktor doesn't like to talk, that he's horribly uncomfortable with it -- but then he does most of the talking in this chapter, and seems very confident about it. I'm not sure whether I like that or not. In my personal Potterverse, Viktor is chronically hopeless at expressing himself even in his own language, and even more so in English. I think I'd have made his dialogue more awkward. But wow, he sure does know how to turn a girl's head!
Author's Response: Thanks, Maudite.
Regarding Viktor talking too much in this one, I think he doesn't like talking due to his not very good English, and because of his personality. But in canon we know that he talks animatedly with Hermione at the Yule Ball and with his parents before the third task. So IMO, Viktor is very quiet almost all the time, but amongst the people he loves he can be very talkative.
