It's wonderful to read a story featuring Neville, even though it's a sad one. Very beautifully and sensitively written, and it deserves all the praise it's receiving. Congratulations on this heart-felt glimpse into the lives, pain, and ultimate loss of the Longbottom family. LSV
*Sob* What an awful experience, to not know your family and to not know your amazing son. This was such a beautiful story, I'm going to have to get a tissue now!
Author's Response: Thank you! And sorry :). I think that's the real tragedy for the Longbottoms - they never will know how their son grew up.
Wow... I have a terrible soft spot for Neville and this was amazing. I hope this isn't true. Well, Neville's death, anyway. Though the hero portion can be true.
This was very heartfelt and I thank you for sharing!

Author's Response: Thanks! And yes, I hope this doesn't come true, too - I think Neville deserves better :).
Wow, incredibly well written and very touching. Sad. I'm even a little teary eyed, so I know this was a really great story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment.
I'm sitting here weeping. What an incredibly sad and powerful story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm very glad people seem to like this one.
Oh, this was just beautiful and made me cry.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it.
I don't whether it's because I'm feeling particularly melancholy, or because I'm listening to a sad piece of music, but that really did make me sniff (well, no, bawl is probably closer). What a lovely piece of prose.
Author's Response: Thanks so much - that's a gorgeous review! And, er, sorry for making you bawl :).
