Author's Response: As Richard was raised at St. Mungo's and was a regular visitor at Malfoy Manor, he has a far different view of house-elves than Hermione. Chaucer the Caterer. Pity house-elves can't make pizza (at least not in this AU, and apparently not in canon either....)
