I've been enjoying the story so much, that I've forgotten to review. I like the humour you use. Richard is a well fleshed-out character. I like his take on Quirrell. Very good job.
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your reviews, and for adding me to your favorite author list. There are more Richard stories, at this site and in the making. I appreciate your comment on Quirrell; he is not an easy character to use, and I had hoped to do him justice in this story set.
Thanks for the heads up about the completion!!
Brilliant!!!!!!!!! But it has left me wanting more. Perhaps another "Sequel" is in the makings?
I really appreciate how your story line has followed along with the book(s). Also, that your writing flows so fluidly. It makes it easy to read and keeps me interested and wanting more.
Keep up the FANtabulous work. I can't wait to see what you have next.
Sleepy
Author's Response: Thank you!!! It's not easy keeping the story line in canon, and my beta has had to reign me in a time or two. There are other stories coming in (including the next "book"), but real life and computer problems keep getting in the way of "polish and post". Thank you for listing me as one of your favorite authors.
wonder why he is so...focued on richard...
Author's Response: St. Mungo's (and Voldemort) gave Lucius the position of a Benefactor - a financial foster father - to Richard, and the child has innocently usurped the love that should have been Draco's. After "Abelard and Heloise" is finished, there will be a story about Richard's father. Thank you for reading and reviewing!
Author's Response: "You have his name, his bed, the rights to his fortune, the shine of his place in society. You will give birth to his heir. You and your son will have everything that the Malfoy name carries. You will have everything but his love," the soothsayer told Narcissa. "The baby who was born under the Dark Mark already possess it." (from "In the Garden of England" - coming eventually to Sychophant Hex!)
nice. :)
i realy like this entire serries.
Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it! Thank you for the reviews, Barb

Ch 1-4 I just found this story and I am glad that I did because I am thoroughly enjoying it. You have many little mysteries taking place here about Richard and I am hoping you continue to post. By paralleling the Philosopher's Stone, you are giving us a double story to enjoy as we remember Jo's book and become involved in yours. I am assuming Snape helped to rescue Richard from Quirrel's clutches surrepticiously. Well done.
Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying the story! I do have most of this "book" done; it's a matter of time to polish it before submitting it to my beta and getting it submitted. "Lucius Malfoy's Favorite Charity" and "The Merlin" take place before PS, are completed and here in the archive. There is another work in progress: "Abelard and Heloise", focusing on, erm, an "incident" in Richard's fifth year at Hogwarts. Thank you again!
