I find myself wondering if Hermione might not be wearing a fragrance that I remember from my childhood (one which they don't seem to make anymore) -- Love's Fresh Lemon! (Yes, it's the same company which makes Love's Baby Soft). My mother had some Love's Fresh Lemon talcum powder when I was a girl, and it had lovely white glittery sparkles in it along with the scent -- which really was a lot like fresh lemon juice. I haven't seen any for sale since the early 80's -- I've read that it was a big favorite with hippies and flower children.
