This is one of the best "what happened that night" stories I have read. If she had been able to Apparate to her sister's, she still would have been eventually hunted down, as the Blood Charm would not have been put into effect. (James dying to protect them apparaently was not enough to make the Charm work.) Thank you for sharing.

You know, this is probably a stupid question, but it literally never occurred to me until reading this: Why the heck didn't Lily apparate out of there with Harry? She had to know James was dead, so she couldn't save him. Why did she stay? Oh well, regardless of the answer, I liked your story.
Author's Response: Yeah, I thought the same thing... the same way Harry could have Summoned the Golden Egg to him in the First Task *wonders*. Thank you very much for the review :)
