*giggles*
I love it. And Severus was really mean to poor little Twiggy. *glares at mean potions master*
I need to know: What really happened between Scarlet and Twiggy? ... It sounded very intimate... ;)
*whispers* you put Hagrid Sr. as a character... wouldn't that be Hagrid's dad?
Author's Response: Thanks, hon! Yes, Severus was a real meany in this one. I think he enjoyed it, actually! Scarlet is no more than a tease with a jealous boyfriend. Twiggy hopes never to roll into her again.
Thanks for noticing the Hagrid thing. I went looking for H for Hagrid, when I should have been looking for R for Rubeus. All fixed. Thanks! warty xxx

Oh my god... poor Twiggy's woody will be getting some action. I hope it doesn't get too hot or they'll burn with more than desire. This is crack-tastic! I don't know what I love the most, but I love it!~Lisa
Author's Response: *Snort* Ah, there were endless possibilities with the references. I added 'out on a limb' at the last minute, but missed his 'wood'. Well done you and thank you so much, hon. warty xxx
Reader's Response: You missed his wood? How could you? It was just sticking out there, almost like a handle. :-D I had to re-read this, even though you painted poor Severus most darkly. Using innocent forest creatures in his potions! Uh, now I think I know where all those Blast-Ended Skrewts disappeared to... No wonder Snape was so happy when Montague came out of the closet. The Vanishing Cabinet, I mean.

What husbands wouldn't do to convince their wife to have children? You have to like Twiggy. Thanks for a good reading.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so pleased you liked it. warty xxx

I bow to your creative genius. Just the kind of pick me up I needed to read.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I think we're a long way from SH having 'Obscurus' as a category for creature stories, but Twiggy is delighted you enjoyed his tale and he also prays there will be no need for a sequel! warty xxx

I had the great pleasure of reading this tonight--what a gem! I read the challenge first, and thought, "Oh, my," so I was really curious how you were going to pull that off with a Bowtruckle. It had this flavour of reading "Alice in Wonderland," and I laughed out loud (numerous times), and reread phrases that were just so ingenuously put together. I loved the dry, tongue-in-cheek narrative. What a wonderful job you did on this, wartcap, I hope you don't mind if I rec this on my LJ--even though I'm a Snarry shipper, this is just too great of a little fic to not share. Kudos!
Author's Response: Gosh! Thank you so very very much for your enthusiasm. If it weren't for your rec, I don't think anyone would have seen it at all. I'm very grateful and so pleased you enjoyed it.
