I have just very greedily read this story from start to finish ... it was so compelling and lovely and stirring I ripped through it as fast as I could.

Your characterisation was brilliant.  Sirius and Zen are a great couple, she is a wonderful OC for him.  I thought the sex scenes were really tasteful but still erotic.  It was a really original take ... which would lead nicely into a sequel *hint hint* hehe.

Fluffy, romantic, funny, sexy ... perfect!  Well done you!

Author's Response:

Thanks!  I have this printed out and I occassionally pull it out for an enjoyable read.  I write what I wanted ot read, and it's always a pleasure to find out that other people enjoy reading my stuff.

I have thought about a sequel, but I'm not ready for that yet.  I see Severus having a hard time adjusting and mabe falling for one of Zen's friends.  And maybe Sirius being a really good daddy to a couple of littl'uns.

It's nice when I think about it!

Great story line! Not enough AU stories w Sirius in my opinion. Loved how JKR's story was blended w a character from 'our' world and how he and now Snape implied is getting a second chance. Is there to be one about Snape?

Author's Response: Thanks, and glad you liked it. This was definitely a fun break from school. I'm writing my thesis now, so I have very little free time, but I graduate in May, so maybe there'll be a short story about Severus's transition into this world. I'll have to see how Work on "Children of the Goddess" goes because I can oly write one thing at a time!

So much to say. First of all, the ending is very satisfying in that it’s somewhat realistic in tone that the future is not going to perfect or easy. It’s happy but not saccharine-sweet. Bittersweet, like everything you write. I was rereading the whole thing, and I really like the way you wrote their fight. Do you really have the reflexes of a Seeker? And I still can’t believe she forgave him about the rats. It was bad enough that he left them where she’d find them, but to actually toss one to her? Ick. No wonder she hit him with it. I don’t think I’d ever forgive him! Saying that he was a magician who wanted to change careers – priceless! Sirius waking up and thinking the cat’s purr was a motorcycle engine – hilarious! A major question: you started this story many months before the release of Book 7. How did you know that Snape wasn’t going to survive? And most importantly: are there going to be any sequels? Like maybe Sirius adjusting to life as a Muggle, or Sirius and Zen helping Snape adjust to life in their world?

Author's Response: Thanks for the comments. Yes, he was very childing with his "revenge", and she was very angry. And I had thought it was pretty obvious that old Severus wouldn't survive. Plus, if he had, his life would have been miserable. And yes, there will probably be some sequels... but not during the semester!

Just read what you have so far, and I love it :D I really like the idea of authors being transported into the world (who wouldn't want to try that??) and I can't wait to find out more. I love the relationship you are building with Sirius.

Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! I'm glad you're enjoying it. It was a lot of fun to write. (My big problem is all the time I have to spend on html formatting!)
