Wow, I love your new insight into what happened that night and the different thought trains of each character. Written extremely well I'll be sure to look out for your other stories too! This gets one of my very rare 10/10!
Author's Response: Thank you! This is my first (set of) drabble(s) and still my favorite in that genre. Most of my work is very Snape-centric and posted on Occlumency; I decided to double-post this one in hopes others would like the voices.

I like the way you showed the aftermath of that night. I thought Peter would be one of the voices, and was pleasantly surprised with your choice. That Snape would trust him after the way he treated him and the others shows how far he'd come since that night. Thank you for fresh insights.
Author's Response: Actually I didn't think Peter necessarily ever knew about it; despite what Peter liked to think, it was James+Sirius as the primary bonding, with Remus and Peter as the hangers-on--in my eyes, of course. And we know Remus wasn't in a state to know about it until later.... Well, Snape never in his life made the mistake of trusting a Marauder again, did he? Though in his defense, I agree: I think there's a difference between knowing a schoolboy enemy is willing to hex you and believing he'd be willing to KILL you.
