Hmm. I like the idea that Snape wrote the book. It totally makes sense. But I don't really get the other bit about the 'sneak' curse. I mean, it just kindof dangles there, and I want to know how he finds the curse and countercurse. It's like you set up a second chapter, but your author's notes give no indication of this happening. I feel like the story is missing something.
But the premise is very interesting. Very much Snape. I just wish there was more!
Author's Response: Thank you for your review - I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to answer. As for your question about him finding the curse and the counter-curse, I don't think that Professor V.V. ever did, as the events in canon took more and more of his time, especially as his other personality had to come up the lesson plans for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Writing the books gave him something to do while waiting and preparing for the doom that awaited his "real" self. The story itself is about a rare moment in Snape's life, where Harry, Voldemort, Dumbledore and dunderheads were out of the picture, where he didn't have to give them a moment's thought - what life must have been like for him in that brief hour.
I wish that there was more too!
I picked up on "Vindictus Viridian" later on in re-reading too, and found it amusing for the same reason. Cool idea!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! It was just weird to me that through the seven books, that Professor Viridian was never referred to again - so who else could he be?
