I really like your perspective on romance in this story - it seems true to life. I especially like Ginny's line, "One date does not exclusivity make". It's cool.
OOOH! I forgot - do tell more about Charlie's wedding, will ya? And you know how thrilled I'd be if you threw in something about Bill, right? Something to whet the appetite until you're ready to PWP Charlie for me! *wink*
Somehow I missed reviewing this chapter... how could that be? Well, I'm doing it now in the hopes that your Muse will soon be revived - I really miss reading your stories, especially this one. Thank you for Remus' realization that it's OK to be himself AND that Harry apparently is quite able to torpedo himself on his own. *shakes head* Harry certainly is spoiled when it comes to expecting female attention and all... gets it in his head that a woman is fascinated with him and he seems to instantly map out the future without regard to reality - or her feelings. I'd be furious, too! (I have been when treated this way in the past.) And interestingly enough, we gals are often accused of this... Yes, I think I'm glad that Ginny is choosing Remus. And I suspect that Kyla will do quite well for Harry - except I hope he has a bump or two in that road, so he doesn't expect her to come easily; it's probably time Harry had to work for something that he really wanted again.
I'm just giddy. Thanks for updating. (I do feel a little bad for Harry, he is just very unlucky with love. He needs a lightbulb moment.)
Are you out to get Harry? First Hermione leaves him now Ginny. He better pay attention to Kyla soon
Author's Response: hee hee. I actually DON'T hate Harry, he's just my little pawn at the moment.
Ekkkk I know I emailed you to tell you how much I love this story so I am now on my knees begging for more
I'm so glad to see that you've updated! I can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the good work.
Remus is the better man, she would be a fool not to choose him. If Harry screwed up his first marriage, he should wait a few years until he tries again.
Please update soon! I just found this charming story and would love to see more.
Author's Response: I actually feel my muse coming back! I might try to get something up by the weekend!
This is very lovely. Looking forward to reading more.
I've read some of your other works and loved them, so I was very happy when I stumbled upon this little jewel. I love the bit when Ginny forgets about Harry's flowers -- I'd prefer Remus' too!
Author's Response: I've been suffering a bit of writer's block. I hope to get over it soon and back to this fic!
Well hit me with a Bludger! I loved this chapter, and you have a girl for Harry, let him find her soon. hee hee. Brilliant, just brilliant. Thanks.
Like the title, I'm blown away... short, sweet, to the point - VERY telling... and still, I hesitate to get overly confident of where you're headed. LOVE how Remus incorporated Snape's advice. LOVE Hermoine's astute observations about Sev and Remus - even if they can't see it, the two are becoming fast friends. Cannot believe how quickly you're writing... you'ree quite spoiling us. More! More!
Brilliant and good advice for any man/warewolf. I wanted to feel bad for Harry, but for some reason I'm not. Thanks for the update, I look forward to the next.
Author's Response: Harry wants what Harry wants. He just needs to find it. There's nothing wrong with wanting what he does. And who's to say that maybe Ginny doesn't want it, too, when it all comes down to it. Then again, maybe she doesn't. ;)
Great Story. I liked Remus and Snape's heart to heart. Please update reall soon
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm working on the next chapter and hope to get it up by the end of the week at the latest.
I have been sucked in! This is a wonderful story so far! I can not wait for the next chapter. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you. Working on it!
Tee hee.. Your clever exchange between Snape and Lupin had me rolling. It's totally within Snape's character to mercilessly tease Lupin - even a bit meanly. And it's also completely within his 'new' character - post-war and post-Hermoine - to help Lupin. But the best line is still the last one! I just hope that Harry ISN'T going to make the same mistakes with Ginny that he did with 'Mione... and that he learns something from the past and from Ginny, even if they don't end up together. I'm still not sure who will end up with whom, although you do seem to be setting up Ginny and Lupin rather nicely. Just wish I had two guys after ME! (LOL) Keep going, my friend... I know you too well to believe you'll be too predictable!
Author's Response: Thanks! You know me...haven't quite made up my mind where Ginny is to fall yet!
Now it's getting tougher... not sure I like Remus resorting to trickery; seems beneath him. Altho all's s'posed to be fair in love and war and all... My heart would break for Harry if he were really, truly infatuated with Ginny and then she dumped him for Remus. But a good friend once told me that "the heart wants what it wants"... and while my head says that's nonsense, my heart 100% agrees. This will be a rocky road! (LOVE to know what Snape said to Lupin... is that coming up? And also, is "Madame" a professional term? I was a bit confused when it was used to address Ginny. Tee hee, I keep thinking of her as a "Miss" or a "Mistress"...) Please write the next chapter soon! P.S. I had to sign-up again, since I couldn't find my blasted identity or password.
Author's Response: Just remember, Remus has long been out of practice dealing with women. Have faith in him, and in Ginny, and maybe even in Snape. OK, not so sure about Snape...Would your heart break if Remus were in love with Ginny and she dumped HIM for Harry?
The first chapter! *does the happy dance* And it doesn't disappoint, either! It's hard to know for whom to root... should Remus and Ginny be together or will Harry prove to be the love of Ginny's life and vice versa? After all, she DID have a crush on him her first year and all... I LOVE how Snape changes his mind about helping Remus when he discovers Harry is the opponent. Although WHO KNEW that Severus would offer such wonderful advice - "Talk to her." Sheesh! If only more men would get that little hint!
Author's Response: Thanks - getting my muse back in working order and getting moving on Chapter 3!
I'm really enjoying this story! It was an interesting twist having Hermione divorced from Harry and now married to Snape - of course who else could she be married to! Now it looks like poor Harry will be shafted again - oh well! Looking forward to some Hermione/Snape interference.
Squee! Okay got that out of the way. Take care of poor Harry's heart luv, please don't give him the double shaft. Thanks for the update - are you still doing your e-mail notices? I was on the list, if you do it again please add me to the list. Thanks again and Happy New Year!
Author's Response: I didn't think to do a new email list for this fic...I shall do that. I already have your address. Anyone else who wants on the email list, just let me know i a review or through the "contact" link! Don't worry, I'll be sure to guard both Harry and Remus' heart, not to mention Ginny's. Hermione's is safe with Severus!
Nice chapter! Poor Ginny, poor Remus ... *pets them both* I am looking forward to seeing the Remus/Severus discussion though. hee hee
Author's Response: I've started writing the Remus/Severus discussion, but I'm too gioddy on New Year's Eve champagne to do it justice! Thanks!
*giggles* I love that Severus changed his mind the moment he found out about Harry. And poor Remus! *sniffles* I'm waiting with bated breath for what wisdom Severus will impart, and what happens next. Gah, poor Ginny, what a choice! Lovely job!
Author's Response: Yes, Ginny will have her hands full. I'm hoping it's a rollercoaster for her. With Severus and Hermione as the (reluctant) voices of reason. The first date between Ginny and Remus can be found in the fic "In A Lifetime" at Ashwinder.
