Don't get me wrong, I'm a big slasher. Loved how you used the British voice as well. But my overall conception of this story was - erm. Rather rushed, and not all that clear. But it was cute. Well done, darling.
Author's Response: Hey! Thanks for the response. Yeah, I know it's a bit rushed--it's one of the reasons I don't often submit ANY of my written work for publication. Not quite sure what you mean by "not all that clear", but I've been busy--I'll re-read it in a bit, when I'm NOT planning a move. :P I'm glad you liked it, though, and I found the note on British voice flattering--especially as it wasn't what I was thinking of when I wrote it. I just wrote the situation out before my brain died on me, and what you're seeing is just that--what was in my head. Thanks again!
Awww! So sweet!
Oh! This is so awesome. I'm always glad to see other femslash writers here. I've always thought of Ginny and Luna as a compatible couple and have attempted fanfiction featuring those two. Of course, it never really reached the level of sophistication yours has. ;) One thing: in the summary of your fic on the "Recently Added" list, it lists Aberforth Dumbledore as a character. So when I first started reading, I was wondering what this story would have to do with goats! You may wish to change that. Anyway, good luck with future writing endeavors. Please post more of your femslash here if you have it, too; I'd certainly like to read it.
Author's Response: Thanks for the heads-up! Could've sworn on the honor of my family name I'd selected Albus, but that might explain some of the initial confusion. Note to self: Wait to submit fics until fully conscious!
In other news, I'm glad you liked it. This is actually my very first foray into slash of ANY variety, and I usually pair Ginny with Hermione (TATU does it, don't ask me why), though G/Lun is just as viable. You can DEFINITELY expect more from me...well, once it's written, anyway.
What a unique and charming ship! I would never have thought of it, but they do seem to complement each other. Well spotted! This was a sweet story.
Strider
Author's Response: Glad you thought so. It was one of those random "what if?" pairings when I came up with it. There are still more in the works, as I think I like the places this pairing could go, but we'll see how it works out.
This is... well different. It's cool though. (Good choice on the ring)
Author's Response: Yeah, thanks. The ring took some doing, and is partly based on my RL engagement ring. It's nothing so fancy as that, but I have a sort of ying for jewelry, and figured it only appropriate. I mean, c'mon, it's LUNA we're talking about! Thanks for reading!
