I'm still casting my vote for Percy. Even if it's a pointless wish at this point. But I can see him getting rather fired up when he's told that Hermione's narrowed it down to Bill and Charlie, and confronting her on it, requesting that she at least give him some consideration, and her realizing that he isn't all rules and regulations and pompousness, that there *is* passion in him... Er...I think I'm getting a little wound up. Sorry. Glad to see this fic progressing! And this confrontation was well-done. Hermione being so upfront was spot-on, and it was amusing to see Bill and Charlie a little cowed.

Every time I check to see if this has been updated, it is right at the top of the list.Either we are amazingly in sync, or this site doesn't get much traffic. Lovely chapter, and I think Hermione is better suited to Bill. Charlie is rather outdoorsy, and Hermione is more of a bookworm.

no secret that I've loved this story from the beginning. My preference would be that Bill get a bit more attention, or at least potential. As it is, I feel that some of the exposition makes it clear thay Charlie is whom you're leaning towards, to the extent that going with Bill would seem inappropriate. If you're going for suprises and tension though, Bill could use some love.

Oooh... it's hard to tell who to root for, you know? I'm rather fond of Charlie just as a canon character, but people have written Bill so well that I'm starting to like him too. The twins I'm just waiting to mess things up (comic relief... we all know it's coming). The wrench in the gear is Percy...
