Malfoy vs the snowman was soooo funny! And after only 2 hours! I laughed out loud. Then you had to bring us all down with that bit about Ginny & Draco can't marry 8-(. Oh, well, it wouldn't be a story without some obstacles. I see there are two more chapters up, so on to the next...
Author's Response: Yeah, Ginny and Draco have an uphill battle. Thanks for taking the time to review.
OK, I have finally run over and read 'Shattered', so I now know your terrible prediliction for cliffhangers is obviously a permanent character defect. But really! I think I've got a sneaky idea where you are eventually heading with all this, but I'll wait and see. And it will benefit Draco immensely to not always get everything he wants - at least not straightaway. And the image of Hermione transforming into a Disco Dancing Death Eater is just what I need to get me through a tedious Thursday morning.
Author's Response: You know, I've been given more shit by more people for my evil predilection, LOL. I truly can't help it: all my stories have lots and lots of twists and turns, so it's inevitable that a lot of chapters end in cliffies. I can only say I'm sorry. Not (*wink*) The new chappie is coming. Thanks for the review.
OK, wow! These cliffhangers are not good for my blood pressure. And did Harry really have to comment on Draco's hirsutenessless? I can see all sorts of strings leading in all sorts of directions....
Author's Response: Bwahahaha! I LOVE the word, "hirsutenessless" . . . I need to figure out a way to work that into a story, LOL. And if it makes you feel any better, Draco is not completely hairless . . . it just looked that way to Harry since Draco's hair is so fine and fair. Whew. Thanks for writing!
:( You make allusions silly Novinha can't understand :(
What was this Shirley about?
I like the Sirius/Narcissa subplot. It is more than interesting. Still, I am looking forward to seeing the story reach the point that is shown in Shattered's epilogue. That was a cliffhanger ;)
Now, is that that shocking to be with a cousin? (makes a face) I think such things happen in wizarding world, as bad for health as they are. I admit that in my own family two cousins got married. I am not entirely sure if they were normal first line ad all cousins, but I do know they had problems with getting legalities straight so they could get married.
It's still funny and very interesting. I like it more than I did "Shattered".
Greetings from Poland,
Novinha
Author's Response: Novinha, I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to respond. The allusion to Shirley is a play on words . . . Sirius said, "Surely you wouldn't--", which is pronounced the same as "Shirley, you wouldn't." That's why Lupin said, "Don't call me Shirley." It's an old American joke, so don't feel silly. I'm the truly silly one here, LOL. And it's shocking to be with a first cousin if you live in America, but it's not if you live in England, as I understand it. However, it will be explained at some point that first cousins were not allowed to marry in the Wizarding world. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Whoa. Talk about a cliffhanger. o.O
No need to say that the Draco-Haryr scene was written to perfection, as always. I was this shaking body of chortles and the odd giggle. Quite undignified, really. heh.
You've got the whole drama of Narcissa and Sirius plotted out, eh? I can almost imagine the look on Draco's face when he finds out about Sirius. Mwahahahaha.
Muchos gracias for the update!
A lovely chapter. Draco is absolutely hilarious -- poor thing just can't have some bloody privacy. So Narcissa is Harry's aunt...Draco is his cousin. That's not going to be fun...for Harry and Draco that is. For me it's quite brilliant. You win a prize. And you used my favorite song!
Omg couldn't stop laughing at 'He was going to die at the hands of somebody who looked like a member of the Vienna Boys Choir.' Dear god, lol...The Vienna Boys Choir, very cleaver. And now we're seeing the how’s when's and why’s of what caused Ginny to leave Draco, though I'm still intrigued to find WHAT exactly his mother did to get him to agree to marry Blaise in the future. Again, I'm sorry I didn't read this sooner, I was wrapped up in writing the fifth chapter of my fic. But all in all, chapter 7 and 8 were fabulous reads, so keep it coming! *~Luv Loz, mwa~*
Author's Response: BLZ, we're well on our way to explaining at least some of the ending to Shattered. Luckily this story will go beyond those events in Shattered, so stay tuned. I'm glad you got a good chuckle out of the chapter and thank you so much for your review.
Ahhhh finally found time to read this chapter, now I'm on to the next one. I love the idea of unborn children having the ability to cast magic if they are powerful enough. And I'm so pleased you've kept Draco as the little whiner we love. *~Luv Loz, mwa!~*
Author's Response: Oh yeah . . . Draco was a born whiner, as we know from the books! I don't think he'll ever completely outgrow it, but at least his whining is rather amusing! Thanks for the review.
Like my own "Often Wrong, Never In Doubt"? Yes, stealing from Lizski... This chapter was very hilarious, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially Harry Apparating to Katmandu. In the middle of Muggle civil war :)))
On the other hand, could you explain the Muggle allusion? This 'oil can'? I have no idea what that is about. I assume some action movie?
Greetings from Poland,
Novinha
Author's Response: The "oil can" reference comes from the film, "The Wizard of Oz". The Tin Man got caught in the rain and rusted over, so he couldn't move. He had an oil can next to him and when the character of Dorothy saw him, he said, "Oil can!", through his clenched jaw. (He wanted her to oil him so that he could move again.) So that's where it came from. You see, I'm from Kansas, just like Dorothy, so I LOVE that movie, LOL. If you've never seen The Wizard of Oz, you ought to try it, it's wonderful! Thank you so much for your review, and I hope you find the rest of the story funny.
I...cannot...stop...laughing...oh...it...hurts...
Author's Response: I hope you enjoy the rest of the story and thank you so much for taking the time to write. I didn't mean to make you hurt, LOL.
the part where eldorf whacks draco on the head....
Oh dear. Problems ahead.... Who else knows about Harry and Ginny?
But I'm sure you're going to sort everything out satisfactorily - eventually.
Author's Response: Hey, it wouldn't be a story without some twists and turns, eh? Thanks for the review and you'll get the answer to your question soon.
Damned Ancient Houses and their damned ancient laws! This chapter was really fantastic. I love that poem, I love that you talked about Siddartha (because I just read that book), I love all the Nepalese historical business. Eldorf is fun -- what with his Yoda-Nun-all the others rolled into one-ness. The bright future ahead of them my arse... Question: are you planning a sequel to this one as well? What with the ending of Shattered over on Ashwinder and all. Just wondering.
Author's Response: The way I plan to play this one out is to take us to the ending of Shattered, and several chapters beyond, so no, I don't plan on a sequel. I couldn't leave things ending with Draco disappearing with Ginny on his wedding day . . . you gotta see what happens next! This story will span over 4 years. Thank you so much for your review!
Oh its so sad that they can't be married according to ancient laws... but what's being a prince if you can't change a few things... I like the heart to heart that eldorf and harry had. thanks for the new chapter
Author's Response: Thank you for reading it! I'm sure Draco would probably agree with you (*wink*wink*).
Oh dear. That is rather sad. Just when they can get together, a royal decree stops them.. hence Blaise, then?
Liked the image of Neville Longbottom as a Vienna Choir Boy. Quite accurate, that, if you're taking the movie Neville into consideration.
P.S. You sound like a huge fan of Nepal. Been there?
Author's Response: I've never been to Nepal, but I've watched several National Geographic-like documentaries on the country, as well as programs about the Himalayas. I find the religious history fascinating and the Himalayas are FANTASTIC! So yup, I'm a fan! With regard to Ginny & Draco . . . things will get rather complicated. Hence Blaise. Thank you so much for your review.
Yes, you're keeping the standard up. I have a silly grin on my face all the way through it. I love that Hermione's the only one who sees it coming....
But I need more. I can't bear the way this comes out in delayed chunks. More please.
Author's Response: Freyalyn, if I could, I'd make the transition from chapter to chapter much more smooth, however, the process of getting one's chapter validated on this site is very arduous! These folks have very high standards and it takes several days to get things just right. The new chappie is in the process of being validated so hopefully it won't be long!
Author's Response: Oops, I forgot to say "thank you", for your supportive review. I appreciate it very, very much.
OOOOOOO what a wounerful chapter. This story gets better as it goes. hope to hear from you soon. Bill
Author's Response: Thanks Bill! I'm in the process of updating so hopefully it won't be long.
Eldorf reminds of the baboon from the lion king... wonderful chapter.
Author's Response: Hmmm. We've got Eldorf reminding us of Yoda, the nun in Blues Brothers and now the Baboon in Lion King. I'd like to add another one: How about Mini-Me from the Austin Powers movies? HAHA! Thanks for your comment!
Too funny. I'm glad I'm reading this alone because if there were people around, I would probably be committed for laughing like an idiot. Draco and Harry together singing love songs and gathering yak dung. There's an image. Let's hope the "Royal Bits" aren't too badly damaged.
Author's Response: I'm very glad you're amused . . . and I would NEVER hurt the Royal Bits (aside from his beautiful hair and eyes, it's his best feature, LOL)
I like Eldorf already! He strikes me as a combination of the nun from The Blues Brothers and Yoda. Can't wait to see more...
Author's Response: OMG! I KNEW I got my inspiration from somewhare. Interestingly, I did think of Yoda when creating Eldorf, but the nun completely escaped me. (The Blues Brothers is one of my all time favs!) You are so RIGHT, LOL! Thanks for your review!
Bwahahahahahaha!
This is bad. Badbadbad. Tsk. *wags finger at Adriana* I should really be getting some sleep because school blasted-ly starts tomorrow but I had to check if you had updated.
Yes, I know. *sighs* I. Am. Weak.
Anyhoos! I would like to love to be there with Harry and watch Draco battle it out with Eldorf. *cackles* This will be getting very intereting, very shortly, I predict.
Gleeful hand-rubbing aside, thanks! for the chapter. :)
Author's Response: Aw shucks! Thankie! Based on your review I think you'll like the next chapter, hehe.
Ohhhh these last two were good chapters! Reviewing them both now, lol, because I just read them. I absolutely love how you mix humor, romance, drama, and all the other good stuff into one story in perfect increments. And the stuff with Harry & Draco has to be the funniest I think...teehee. Mysterious bit there at the end...hmm...^_^. Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Well, you're getting more because the new chappie is up! I hope you enjoy it and thank you so much for your review.
My, my…what a little cliffy you have set up here, evil wench, lol…cheek duck. Thanks for another update, sorry it took me while to read it…it was my birthday on Monday so last weekend I was celebrating quite a bit…suffice it to say I needed a little recuperating. Keep up the amazing work, I’m loving where this is going! *~Luv Loz, mwa!~*
Author's Response: Who are you calling cheeky? *grin*. Your delay in reading is perfectly understandable. It's hard to read with a hangover (it makes you even more nauseous) . .. not that I personally know about that or anything (heh). Thank you so much for taking the time to review, I appreciate it. The new chappie is awaiting validation so it should be out this weekend.
Aha! I see where this is going... *looks wise and all-knowing*
*gives up posing*
Ok,ok! I don'tknow what's gonna happen...
Now will you tell me? ;)

Author's Response: Bwahahaha! You are too damned cute. And no! I still ain't tellin'! You're just going to have to wait and see, LOL.
