Well, I see this was updated on Sept. 27/05 - I am always curious as to how the writer has progressed in their endeavours after what, in this case - a 3 year period. I felt your story had potential for expansion, via a pre-quil. I thought/felt you could have lots of fun with my/that idea. I personally am a Snarry nut, enjoy good story lines (with slash). I also hunt for AU/creature fics. Was just being curious about "Pureblood" and happened on your story, which I rather enjoyed. I felt the story had depth and feeling to it, left me feeling as if I was sitting in Snape's emotions/head. Very nicely done. I rated you a 9 due to my feelings that nothing is perfect. Author's Response: Thank you very much for this compliment! This song begged me to write Lucius/Severus, I really couldn't help it. It helped me see Severus' past from another angle - before, I wouldn't have seen the possibility of such a thing. And I like experiemnting ;-) I'm glad to know the result seems believable to you!

I like it- a very true Snape and a very true Lucius. Nice writing too, not a word out of place.
Author's Response: Thank you! Especially that last part means much to me, for English is NOT my native tongue. So you can guess how happy I am about that ;-) To me, it's surprising that you think the charaterisation of Lucius is good - I haven't done much with him, be it reading or writing. Severus is an entirely different matter, I've formed a very precise opinion of his character, and of course it's good to know that it still fits the canon way in which he's described.
