*cries* poor draco!
Author's Response: Oh, he's all right.
i like the story lol
Author's Response: Thanks!
maybe you should write the story you just gave about snape and his wife down somewhere...its sweet
Author's Response: *giggle* I did--here!
This is such a good story. Please update it soon
Author's Response: Sigh... RL is interfering with my fanfics...
I love it... can't wait for the update...
Author's Response: Thanks!
Most Excellent Fic! Can't Wait for the update.
Author's Response: *grin* Thanks!
I think Draco is justified for having his head in the clouds at this point in time. Hermione too. I saw that you had posted and I was very excited, because I love your story and I am always looking forward to reading more. Great job and post more soon please!

Author's Response: Thanks! It'll probably be a while before the next one...darn Real Life.
Yea!!! An update...and its good...as always.
Author's Response: Thanks!
hello, i've just discovered your story, and it is one of the best i've read. i love the characters (especially draco and snape)
update soon please, i can't wait for the rest (an author must be prepared for pleas from impatient readers, especially who he/she finishes the chapter with a cliff-hanger)
Author's Response: Heh, yeah, I'm used to it. Sadly, I have a bunch of other fics with even more demanding readers--but I'll get to this one again, I promise.
Excellent writing! I can tell that you put a lot of effort into this. What a great way to start my day! Thanks for updating. I still love this story!!!
Author's Response: Thanks!
What a cute awkward little moment between them. Hitting him with the portrait door, then having him try to be nice to you? "Granger... Hermione." Hmm. Keep with it! We're on the edge of our seats!
Author's Response: Thanks! I see so many H/D fics where Draco holds out until poor Hermione gets injured, then he saves her...I figured this was a nice counterpoint to that routine.
tease... I'm really glad you updated though, I checked just this afternoon if there was a new chapter up yet, and I was really sad to see that there still wasn't, so thank you! :) I love this story...
Author's Response: I realized I hadn't posted the last one I had written...but the next update will be a while.
Finally some action! lol, just kidding. I don't know what made me smile more, the fact that Draco was so nervous or Hermione hitting him in the face with the entrance door and almost freaking out. You did an awesome job as usual. Keep it up and post soon please!
~Krystle Lynne~
PS: Yes, I know this is a Malfoy archive, but I just really wanted to see what happened when he first saw her after talking to Severus, which we did this chapter and it was amazing.
Author's Response: Thanks! yeah, I haven't actually decided how Herms is going to take all this. There's so many possibilities...
LOVIN' IT. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE UPDATE. I READ THE FIRST 20 CHAPTERS IN ONE SITTING(IT'S A SLOW NIGHT AT WORK, BUT STILL). WHEN DO WE GET TO FIND OUT THE NAME OF THE GARGOYLE?
Author's Response: LOL, hadn't thought of a name, I suppose we'll have to do that.
I agree with the review that you're keeping Snape in character. This line is so like him: "If you're hoping for a load of permissive claptrap about 'following your heart,' Draco, you should seek advice from the Headmaster." Well done! I can't wait to read the next chapter. I too miss Hermione.
Author's Response: LOL, yeah, I can so picture Snape saying that. Pity we never get to see him in Head of House mode much in canon.
This brought a smile to my face! I love it. Its in no way fluffy, yet the characters seem more human. Thanks for the smiles!!
Author's Response: Thanks! I work hard at the "keeping it real" aspect--glad it's working!
I don't know what made me laugh more...Severus' comment that Draco was 'blushing like a blooming Hufflepuff' or the fact that 'pint-size' Mrs. Snape tackled Severus onto the armchair. I loved this whole chapter, the fact that we're still seeing more sides to Severus than at one point I ever thought possible, and that Draco is serious about trying to figure out what to do. You are still doing an amazing job in your portrayal of both characters, though I would like to see more Hermione, I miss her. Keep up the amazing job and I look forward to reading more.
Author's Response: Cool! Well, this is a Malfoy archive, the story's mainly about Draco, but there will be more of all these characters as well.
You can totally tell that Draco wants to ask Snape about something else... It's nice to see them bonding. Snape acts as a much better role model than Lucius. Still evil, just reformed evil. There was an interesting surprise with Snape's wife here. I liked the uniqueness of the situaion. You could practically write an entire fic just about Snape's story in this chapter. Love it! Keep writing!
Author's Response: heh, yah, that's the idea. I love creating backstory.
I loved this chapter, because it gave not only insight into who Severus' wife is, but also you gave Severus more depth and I really like that. But poor Draco, nervous to be asking his uncle about the dreaded l-word, but to then be regaled with that story could not have been easy. Though he did recover very well. Great job and I look forward to your next post.

Author's Response: The worst part for Draco is that he still hasn't had his REAL question answered...more to come.
I too like the gargoyle. Great tension between D/H I was disappointed he turned tail like the shy maiden after the hand scene. Keep updating! look forward for more.
Author's Response: I think he's a little freaked out that this one, The Mudblood, is starting to feel like a "keeper."
I'm really enjoying Hermione's maturity. Sometimes you think Draco's spite is going to send her into a fit of rage... I find her quite admirable to be able to resist that (however hard that may be for her). At moments like this you see exactly why she's the perfect counterpart for him ;)
Author's Response: She's always been the level headed one of the three, although she can certainly have Moments...
I've been away for a while and was very happy to see all of your updates. I love the addition of the Gargoyle. I think it is a great and original touch! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks. Yeah, she's become one of my favorite OC's.
Well, it's always easier to talk to someone else rather than the person that you like. I love that the gargoyle 'followed' Draco home. Great job on another chapter, I look forward to reading the next one.
Author's Response: Thanks!
I love that Draco caught her in the 'act,' but then only a few minutes later gave up the information that he knew what she was doing. Honestly I was surprised that Hermione didn't slap him, though I am curious to her answer of what he said before he fled to his room. Great job and post more soon!
~Krystle Lynne~
Author's Response: Thanks!
I just wanted to comment on your interpretation of what Harry and Ron had become after "saving the world". This is so priceless: they have an entourage? It was fun to imagine Harry and Ron like this... and even more fun to read Draco's response. ::fist splahes on the surface of the water:: "I fucking knew it!" Gotta love Draco.
Author's Response: Thanks! I haven't seen that particular outcome before, but it makes sense to me. I love the thought of Harry running all over the world getting laid like a rock star... it just cracks me up.
