I'm really enjoying this. There's a nice inner conflict inside Draco. It makes it all the sweeter that he finds himself attracted to someone he's supposed to hate. I can't wait to see what Hermione is going to do/think about Draco's odd behavior.

Author's Response: Mmmm... not exactly like that, no. However, there's something kinda cute coming up with a piece of statuary. I think if you mark this story as a favorite, it will send you an email when I update. I still have several chapters to post, then I have to write more. Oh, ow. And I really like this Draco, too; he feels like Draco to me. And Hermione has no idea how much she hurts him, and if she did, she wouldn't respond correctly anyway, because she's definitely not in the right place to have that kind of responsibility. Gotta love Slytherins who take an interest in others' well-being. They're more formidable than Gryffindors when they decide to care.
