I absolutely loved this story! It was brilliant.
ok it's late at night as i write this...but if hermione was in hogsmeade, which is near hogwarts, and Tonks was in Diagon Alley in London, how did Hermione get to London so fast? Or am I missing a massively salient point (oh so much more than possible!)? Otherwise a nicely worded story, and it's nice to see the girls rescuing themselves rather than waiting for the cavalry! yay girls!
This story is awesome! It is well thought out and well written. Allowing Tonks and Hermoine to be empowered enough to save themselves is wonderful. Thank you for a very thrilling story!
Very well written. Nice work.
Wow, this was really good. It was like reading a good book, all I need is the popcorn.
a nice wonderful short story... I like it
I really enjoyed your story. It was well written and very imaginative. I especially like how the girls saved themselves using their wits. Bravo!
Author's Response: Thank you. I must confess that I'm very pleased myself that Tonks and Hermione didn't have to wait for a knight in shining armour for their rescue.
Bravo! I am particularly happy when women don't allow themselves to become victims, and they are able to effect their own salvation.
Author's Response: I guess it's the feminist in me that speaks out... :-D I'm also very annoyed with all those stories that make Hermione into a dimwit and has to be rescued. Thank you for your kind reviews. Perhaps there will be more Lucius sometime in the future.
I'm glad that you moved this story here, it is as gripping on the second read as the first. I am intrigued to see how you plan to get our heroines out of Lucius' clutches...
Author's Response: Well. To have your story re-read is good praise indeed! Thank you.
I really like this story. It is very detailed and has an interesting plot. Lucius is a very, very bad boy. I love seeing Tonks and Hermione getting one over on him!!! Update soon.
Author's Response: Thank you. I have just updated, and the last and finishing chapter will come tomorrow. I hope you will like them.
Excellent chappie! No wonder Hermione was feeling reasonably calm...(sounds similar to a self protection spell i used in one of my stories!)
Small nit alert: It will amuse me so much more to have you were you are right now.
think you mean where instead of were.
Author's Response: Thanks! I haven't read your story, will I find it here?
And thanks for the nit. It is now picked. :-)
I'm delighted that you've decided to post this here. It's a difficult and superb tale you weave... Her intelligence and cleverness in the face of Lucius' sadism is quite heroic.
Author's Response: Thank you. Then I just have to hope that the rest will satisfy as well.
