Good start - can't wait to read the next chapter. I like how you skipped the 'getting to know ya' part and that this story is starting from a different place in the DM/HG ship. Since they are already standing together (even though just as friends) it gives a lot of room to explore the other factors that would be involved in a DM/HG pairing.
