What a lovely story. Lucius' wizarding world is so full of colorful details, and Richard is a delightful boy! There's a certain sensitivity in your writing that JKR sometimes lacks. I look forward to the stories at Lumos.

Ah, that's right, Voldemort isn't back yet. So, just who is Richard's father...?

Author's Response: So far as the chapter is now, Richard is simply listed in the records of the magical world as "a Merlin". The original Merlin was a "fatherless" boy; said to be the a son of an icubus, or, as Draco said, a demon. In The Merlin, posted at "Lumos", Delphi Trelawney has a different piece of information....

This is a very different story I have read from the others. But nonetheless, I like this story....a lot. Please update soon.

Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you enjoy it! Because the story is shifting to Richard Goodfellow's POV and his experiences at Hogwarts (and elsewhere), the story line will be shifting over to "Lumos". The titles will start with The Merlin, and there will be one stand-alone, Abelard and Heloise. Lucius will be everpresent in all of them in one way or another...

Really original view into the matter of Lucius' activities before the second war. What amuses me most is the doffirence between his view on muggleborns and abused women. I hope you'll post the new chapter soon, cause I'm interested in the good side's reaction for such uncharacteristic behaviour from him.

Author's Response: Actually, the "good side" (meaning the public in general and the Ministry of Magic specifically) reactions are well-documented in the books. I'm just putting out my thoughts on why they would trust him with their children. After reading these chapters, wouldn't you want him to babysit yours? ;D

Interesting story looking into Lucius' "charitable" activities...but who is Richard exactly? I am wondering what will happen next...

Author's Response: ;D
