*tears* Gods, I'm so desperate to know what happens with Remus and with Tonks... it's like... two cliffhangers in one. (Granted, Tonks will get better since this is the past... but I want to know what happens. Update soon? :)

I loved this story when I first discovered it this summer and just found it again today. I hope you continue; the characterizations are wonderful and I'm (again) dying to find out what happens next!!

How heartwrenching. I like how you are mixing flashback and present to reveal the story. I can definitely see Remus trying to protect Tonks from how he looks after being burned. I know he thinks he's protecting her, but someone needs to tell him that he's not.

oh damn! if he survived then she's gotta know! she's a klutzy but knowledgeable (and probably powerful to be an auror) witch by not telling her, you're making her a loose cannon. i hope you continue this and have her find out or have hp take pity on her and tell her.

no, they were absolutely wrong in not telling her that remus lived, because that is an awful thing to do to a person's heart...sorry, got slightly carried away...i am a HUGE remus/tonks shipper, and i get very sad when they don't end up together!!! great wording...favorite part: In no mood to be mocked she whirled around, half expecting to see Fred or George, perhaps even Charlie; she was ready for a row. But instead of seeing someone to unleash her fury on, she saw the man that she had been in love with for years. Her anger melted as he looked up at her, a bemused grin on his face. He could do it to her every time. yay and hurrah to you, great writer of remus/tonks ships
