I have read the story to this point and I am quite intrigued. I cannot deny that I have a deeply-imbedded sense of disgust bordering on pure hatred for Lucius. I am not ready to cast that aside just yet. Perhaps I never truly will. However, I like your story. It's well-written, detailed and entertaining. It is written in a more sophisicated vein that much of fanfiction I have read. It's good to find a mature story. Gotta love a good mystery. I can't wait to see what Draco has developed into. By the way. I may have missed it but, what happened to Narcissa?

Hermione and Lucius are both remarkably in character, and the premise is not only believable but original. Another interesting, intelligent chapter - well done. I do like the Malfoy aristocrat and her repeated head-loss... are the Malfoys related to Wendelin the Weird as well? I'm now torn between hoping that Lucius *is* in fact the cultured, civilised man that he appears and waiting for the beast to bare its claws again. Update soon please.

Excellent. A great deal of originality in the diaries and the locking spell for the old parchment. However, I think my favorite part was the short, humorous tidbit about Malfoy's ancestor and her love of illusions. I got a bick kick out of that. This chapter might have been a little dry with all the info being tossed at the reader, but you kept it interesting and moving at a good pace. I really enjoyed it. About the only thing that threw me a little was when Malfoy said "Wow." Seems little incongruous in comparison to his previous diction in the chapter, but hey, why not?

What is it lately with Lucius? As much as I love and adore our Potions Master, I find myself drawn, like so many others, to tales of Lucius. What's not to love, neh? Silvery good looks, autocratic bearing, sneering to rival Severus? Ah me! Ok, I have been hanging on long enough. Each day I check and there is nothing new. You tempt and tease only to leave us panting for more. You skill has not waned a bit. I am hanging by my fingernails waiting for you to let us in on what lays ahead. I think I could put this fic right up there with Other Side of Darkness. Believe me, that is high praise indeed. Get busy, woman!

Oh my. OH MY!!!! I knew this would be good. How could it not? You are a master storyteller, Q, and this shows such awesome promise on so many levels. I love a complex and intriguing plot to go along with the romance, and this fiction is shaping up to fit the bill. Chapter 2 was a great tight rope of suspense that asked as many questions as it answered. And I loved Lucius' statement at the end of chapter 3. There is a regrettable lack of good Lucius fics out there, regardless of the pairing, so I am thrilled to not only see this one, but to also see it written by the author of one of the best SS/HG fictions ever written. Looking forward to your next update.
