LOL at your author's note. Your muses threatening you indeed. I don't want to know that anything bad is going to happen to Hermione and her baby. Poor thing, she's been through enough lately. And Ron and Harry yelling in unison did make me giggle. I hope it's not the last giggle left in the story. How is Lucuis going to be redemed without her and their baby. Won't their loss drive him even further from the Order? It might cause him to boomerang. Thanks for the post!
Author's Response: Thanks, Lyndie. I'm glad you liked the Author's Note. I really had to find something lighthearted in light of what I've been working on the last week and that seemed like a good place to do it...I'm really glad you could find some humor in that last bit. In a way, I keep thinking I should explore the story from some of the other characters, but I'm trying hard to keep it purely from Hermione and Lucius. As hard as it is, I'm sticking with it. :)...Ah, yes, so many bad things can come from this, can't they? Here's hoping I can beat my muses into some more levity.

Author's Response: Thanks, lucianya. Chapter titles are generally hard for me so I was quite pleased to pick this one. I will admit that Phantom of the Opera was on my mind, in part, because of ShilohDarke's fic. :)...The update is coming soon and I'm working on future chapters. :)

They are feeding me more of the story and hopefully that will speed up forthcoming chapters, at least for a little while. :) I do actually have the end in sight right now and think I know how I'm getting there. Of course, the muses may change that plan. LOL That cliffie was an evil one, wasn't it? They aren't sorry about that, though. I've tried to reason with them, but I keep losing. *wink*

I'm working on the next part, fighting with my muses for some semblance of control over my story. :)

You have to watch out for the evil plot bunnies. No, no, I wasn't warning anyone online about evil plot bunnies. Everyone knows I have the sweetest nicest plot bunnies a- OW! I don't know what thing about evil plot bunnies. Mine are all good.
Excellent chapter. I wondered what would happen should Hermione turn up pregnant and Ginny thinks she's sleeping with Ron. Thank you for not making the torture too torturous or graphic. I sincerely hope Hermione and the baby are both okay and I look forward to your next update. I don't know what they're going to do to Lucius when they find out he's the daddy, and I'm really anxious to find out. He may not be so pretty afterwards. :-)

Author's Response: Thanks, Lisa. They were being particularly cruel this week. So, I see yours have you at wand point, too. LOL Maybe that's where mine learned it. Have muses and plot bunneis been getting together to have parties where they decide how to torment us poor authors and our beloved characters? Shhh...I think I hear them coming back.
So, um, yeah, torture. I wasn't quite sure if what happens in the next few chapters would be torture or abuse? Either way, it's not pleasant. I have never been graphic purely for the sake of being graphic. The concept may be disturbing, but I won't make it overly graphic...Yeah, Lucius should be pretty nervous right now. Harry and Ron are already pretty pissed at him and this would be added fuel to the fire. Something tells me he won't want to be in the room with either of them when they find out or your prediction may come true. :)
As for the next update, I'm working hard on it. It's a very difficult chapter to right. Fluffy stuff is easy for me to right, darker stuff takes quite a bit more refining....The hardest part about this story is getting information out while keeping it a two POV story. I know that JKR generally does purely Harry POV, but has added in other POV chapters for backstory. I may resort to that, but I'm trying not to. That's why we had Lucius overhearing the argument in the kitchen. LOL Not bad, huh?

Hmmm... I have enjoyed catching up on these two latest chapters. I think it is fantastic, as always! The bond that has formed between the two of them is really nice, and I can just see him, Desperate to help find Hermione now that she is in danger! I wonder though, will his feelings for her slip when he demands to be able to help??? I'm sure he will demand to be able to help... Won't he?
Author's Response: LOL Patience, Shiloh, patience. The answer to that question is forthcoming. I have pretty much the entire first draft of the next chapter written. I just need some tweaking as I tend to write dialogue tornado style and have to come through and do some serious cleaning up. :) More so on this one. Hopefully it will be up by week's end. I may have to beat the muses down for that, though, they are once again throwing new ideas at me in rapid succession and I'm hoping to avoid any big rewrites.

Author's Response: Thanks, Owlbait. I like writing drunk people as they can be so much fun. I know that personalities change, mostly because masks are let down. I loved that line where he tried to pronounce Voldemort, I just figured that would be one of those words you can't get out drunk. LOL As for Lucius, I think you start to see a bit of who he really is when he's drunk. I'm glad you liked this bit, I wanted to have him in part of the chapter, but was drawing a blank on how to do it until I had this epiphany...As for the cliffhangars, I have come to embrace them. Bwahahaha! The next part is well underway....Lucius may finally be at a crossroads where he has to more publicly acknowlege a choice.

Author's Response: Well, I figure Lucius has heard quite a bit in his time at headquarters. Also, he may have learned after the fact what the diary had been. Well, at least in my reality. ;) There the trusted Death Eaters knew about them...I think you are right about Ginny. I think she will be the first to come to terms with it because she has seen how awkward Ron is...Depending on how the others figure it out, it could be quite explosive. ;)

Author's Response: Glad you loved it. I thought those letters would be the perfect touch to appeal the romatic teenager side of Hermione. :) Who could resist someone being so thoughtful? I wish I'd get little love notes, but I don't. Heck, I'd take an email, but I don't get those either. :(...Anyway, back to Lucius and Hermione, she doesn't stand a chance, does she? LOL She really should watch out for Slytherins. ;)
