Yay, an update!!! Hermione is so much in love with Lucius (anyone who's not?;) I never thought that our blond beauty could be so romatic, when he wants, or maybe when he's got something planned :) And I'm really curious about Snapes part in this story... I'm waiting impatiently for a next chapter!! :)
Author's Response: Thanks, zen. I really adore our sneaky Slytherin, especially in this story. I have to keep elements of this one slipping into another story where he was a real bastard...As for his being romantic, well, he is Slytherin so you never know what his motives are. ;)...Keep reading for more info, I hope to have the next chapter up by the end of next week. For a bit of good news, I have more or less finished my other story, so this one can get undivided attention for a little while (until the Snape!muses come and take over again)

Author's Response: Thanks, Angel. Don't worry about me abandoning this. I have yet to leave a work unfinished. :) And I have no intention of starting now. As long as there are readers, I will finish this story. :) The update should be up this weekend at the latest.

Ack! You know... I like Ron and Hermione growing into a couple in JKR's story... But as far as fan fiction goes, and the way Ron acts in most of the Fan fictions, I just can't imagine the two of them together! How does Hermione keep her mouth shut when Ginny talks as if the two of them are together? I don't have the discipline to not fuss at someone for assuming things like that! Poor Hermione... She has no one to share her secret with! I am looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks, Shiloh. You know, I never really could see R/H. Perhaps in the future once he grows up some, but not teenage Ron. Of course, teenage boys in general tend to be pretty immature so I suppose he's no worse than the others...As for Hermione keeping her mouth shut, shock can be an amazing thing. ;) Secrets and lies, a recipe for trouble...time will tell how that plays out.

I have to ask? Have you ever read or seen the movie "Dangerous Liaisons"? If not, you should. Lucius is Valmont incarnate and Hermione is so like Tourvel regarding their similar innocence.
