Author's Response: Thanks, zen. I've always seen Lucius as a bit of schemer and I think he's always looking out for number one, himself. I don't know if he would be happy if he wasn't scheming something. LOL...It was really mean of me to have Ron show up, wasn't it? Actually, the muses were spurred on last night with a discussion with one of my friends and this was a perfect plot twist.

Lucius and his seduction of Hermione is fascinating to read. Lucius is calculating and cunning, Slytherin traits that work well with what the book gives us. Hermione's dream/fantasy of Lucius was amusing and it gave a sense of how well the seduction is working.

It made me wish that I have read the classic romance novels and could have done better, but I think it's exactly the sort of thing her emotional side would do....I'm glad you love the cunning and calculating Lucius planning the seduction. :)

Author's Response: Thanks, Lisa. I really love those sneaky Slytherin men, too. And I've always thought that Lucius would be incredibly manipulative to have avoided prison last time. He's so much fun to write and there's not much of him in canon so I can have some fun with him. :)

Author's Response: Thanks, Mimmy. I'm really glad people have liked the arguing. It's a new element for me to use in fic and I was afraid it sounded better to me that it would to others. :) Hopefully new stuff will be up on a weekly basis. Chapter 4 needs a bit of a tweak after a new idea I got driving into work today. I have either 6 or 7 chapters written. Depends on how much of the latter is material cut from elsewhere that isn't going to make it back in.

OOOO That Lucius, he's just plain sneaky! Do you think he might eventually get snagged in his own net? I hope so, there's nothing better than seeing a plan backfire on a devious Slytherin. Am a little suprised HG is taking being at Malfoy Manor in her stride..I would've thought she would suggest taking the books with her back to headquarters. *shrugs* But it works.
What's going to happen with the pair when Hogwarts goes back in session? It's not like ol' Luci' can just stroll about as a school governor anymore, what with still being ment to be in Azkaban and all.
I can't wait to see more of the story, I simply love that it was updated the day after I reviewed (lol) Keep 'em comming I say!

Author's Response: Thanks, ShilohDarke. I love the voice in her head, too. I've never really used a comic device before and I'm glad it's working out well. I can totally see someone like her that prizes intellect and logic needing her emotional side to take on a personality of it's own. :)...As for Lucius, I don't think he knows what it is. Remember, he's a guy that spent about a year in Azkaban and then another 6 months under house arrest. He's got to be pretty darn horny by now. LOL

I'm really loving this story so far, you have a great flare for writing a devious Lucius and I really can't wait to read more.
How long will Lucius be able to keep Hermione in his own territory and suseptable to his further influence? Will someone eventually turn up to see whats going on and throw a spanner in the works?
Also I was wondering if HG had anything going on with RW? No doubt HG's constant inner struggle would cause some grienences there. (I couldn't remember if you'd stated the pair had anything between them or not. *sheepish grin*)
Though I am a fanatical SS/HG shipper I actually don't mind who HG is paired with, so long as it's one of the Slytherins we love to hate.
And as far as I'm concerned there's not enough believable LM/HG fic's out there.
So I think you're doing a smashing job with this one and hope to see more from you really soon, if you keep posting I'll keep reviewing.(when I remember to check, I always forget about the pureblood archive *grins*)

In some one like her that is generally ruled by logic over emotion, I like the idea that her repressed emotional side would develop it's own personality. :)...I'm glad you liked the daydream.
