It's been ages since I've been to this archive, but I found your story and greatly enjoyed it. Yes, it's short, but you pack a lot of punch in a short space, and I also seem to be one of those with a short attention span. So it all works for me. It's very atmospheric in the sense that I want to wrap myself up in the sensuality of it.

OOH this was nice! Short sweet and slightly smutty! Perfect with a glass of wine and my tiramasu.

Aaaaaaah, at last, I can let a review!!!
Well, you know I find that story great. Just one bad thing: it is soooooooooo short! lol!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing!
Very nicely done! I'm assuming that was Ginny? But whoever it was, she made Remus Lupin happy and that's a good thing.

Author's Response: Yes, it was Ginny :-)

I could hardly stay away from your fic after I caught the title in Mugglegirl's post. Lol, I wonder how many Unlikely Befellows fics there are out there on the web. Lovely fic, and I adored the change in Remus' whole outlook on life and, more importantly, himself when his love was near. Well done! :)
Author's Response: I knew I had already seen this title in several other places, but I just couldn't resist - I think of this as an unlikely pairing, after all, and they do end up in bed. I hope I haven't offended too many people by doing so. Thank you for reading and reviewing! - Gannet
Consolation leading to passion, passion leading to love.
The way you choose your words is almost poetic. Remus' emotions are tangible for the reader, his low self-esteem due to prejudices, his joy of being loved by a wonderful woman.
Well done!
Author's Response: Oh my it's funny to be able to answer reviews instead of leaving them. Thank you for reading and reviewing!
I love Remus, and I live him with Hermione and Ginny. For some reason, Hermione more than Ginny. And what I really love about this fiction is the same thing that I hate about this fiction, that we don't know who his love is. It allows the reader the chance to put anyone, other than Tonks, in the position, but it does not satisfy the curiousity of the reader either. -- B
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I actually wrote this with Ginny in mind (alluding to Harry's death, to Grimmauld place, to her freckles), but, reflecting at your review, I'm not sure it matters that much - the point is that Remus changes from outcast to a happy, confident man through a woman's love. - Gannet
Hey, well done! Congrats on your first post here :)
