BRILLIANT!!! That's really brilliant, brilliant phrasing. (But Regulus WAS a Slytherin, at least according to Slughorn, who should have known . . .) I will admit, the "dark man from her past" had me going - I thought it was Snape! BUT! This could be very interesting! This is the first story I've read on Pureblood, and I'm quite liking it!

Speaking of which, those men were really creepy, and I was relieved to find someone come to her rescue. What you made the hero say to prove he really was her cousin was great. I really like the concept that Regulus has been alive and well and hiding in the Muggle world. Great twist! That he would have made is fortune doing things like microtechnology is a great way for you to allow him to exist and event thrive there. His/your ideas about Muggles inventing things in order to achieve ends that might be achieved by magic is very insightful. But then again, it’s perfect that Narcissa doesn’t buy it! Still, you kept him a canon Slytherin with his reference equating wealth to power. He’s got both, doesn’t he?
The memory he used to convince Narcissa that it really was Regulus is priceless, and for the record, of course they should hit the sheets again! It’s perfect that Regulus is the one to rescue Narcissa. If he really is the R.A.B. from HBP, then he would be the only one able to protect her given the circumstances; he knows how to save himself.
I like your analysis of what the Dark Lord has taken from Narcissa—from her son, who wanted to be a Death Eater as an act of rebellion, to Lucius and Bellatrix, two people who likely meant the world to her. You so totally have to finish this. I want to see Narcissa help Regulus kill Voldemort.

The idea that Narcissa has lost it all, her status spoiled is a wonderful, desperate place to start. I also think that it makes sense that Narcissa would be doubting Voldemort, just you indicate, well before this. It is absolutely horrible to think of her degrading herself cleaning up a brothel, and the episode with the the nasty men was terrifying. That Regulus is the one to come to her aid took my breath away. I hope you do continue.
