I must admit. I thought 'The Offspring? You must be kidding'. But I read it, and you convinced me. It works, and set against Remus' thoughts it is perfect. Very sad. It moved me. Touching.
Author's Response: Thank you. I admit the combination is a bit weird - but The Offspring were a favourite band of mine when I was feeling "teen angst", so I associate there music with feeling depressed...
When I started writing it, the combination felt right and it basically wrote itself.
