Wow! I found the story to be a really good read. I signed on just to read it. I love the way you explore Snape's feelings and the reasons for which he does things. Great story.

Author's Response: Well, I appreciate that you did sign on: thank you for the nice comments! Snape's a fun character to explore; hopefully I will also be able to find Narcissa's voice again.

Had one of his students seen him at this moment, they would have suspected the influence of Polyjuice or something even more sinister. LOL! And what about if they saw him later! That was so well done, Neta! Beautifully written -- I signed on just so I could review and tell you what a great job you did. Hugs!

Author's Response: It's taken me forever to respond, but your comments really mean a lot! Thanks, A!

I almost cried during the first chapter! Very well done! Now I discovered there are more chapters to come! I loved the 2nd, too! GO ON! ;-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I hope to have more soon, but I've been suffering a bit from writer's block. :( I have a few things going from Narcissa's pov again, though, so hopefully one of them will work out. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

it was like we got to hear about sections of the book that were left out. cant wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you! I always wonder what's happening in the spaces between and outside the narrative, so I enjoy exploring the possibilities in this story. I'm glad you liked it!

I love the concept that Severus' hand was forced with Bella's doubts about him. I've often wondered if that might not have been the case--that he did it less so for Narcissa but maybe more so for himself. Though, there is a fine mixture of the two incentives here and it's quite believable. I just loved the way that she took the lead and brought him home to seduce him. Sigh! They've let their guards down a bit, havn't they? Just lovely, Luna!

Author's Response: Thank so much for reviewing! I do love writing Snape's perspective; his motivation always strikes me as a great mystery, so it's fun to explore what makes him do what he does. And Narcissa--she's an intriguing figure since HBP came out. I love seeing her as both Lucius' pureblood snob of a wife and the passionate mother we see in book 6, and Severus...well I imagine a lot of people are pairing her with Severus these days. Poor Lucius, though. It most be awfully cold and lonely in Azkaban.

Reading this again here as I realize you've a second chapter boys (rubs hands together gleefully). A brooding, dark presence in what sometimes seemed to me an otherwise charmed life, he invaded my thoughts and lessened my triumph, refusing to give me the adoration I felt I deserved. I love the way you've characterized Narcissa as wanting and loving his ugly, dark presence, in spite of the fact that she could have all that is rich and wonderful and beautiful if she just snapped her fingers. You've illustrated quite well that his unwillingness to fall for her easily is his undoing. Yet there is more to her feelings toward him than simple conquest. Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you for revisiting my story! Hopefully I'll be getting back to Narcissa's perspective for the next chapter because she really appeals to me as a character.

PLEASE UPDATE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Oh yeah...really good story shaping up here!lol I can't wait to see what happens.

Author's Response: I'm actually working on a sequel, which jumps with the two characters into adulthood, but I'm having difficulty getting it from Narcissa's point of view. I don't know: I might just end up posting what I have as a separate story (probably on Occlumency because it's from Snape's pov). But real life should ease up a bit in December, so I'll definitely return to Narcissa then. Thanks for the encouragement!

Lunafish, that was beautiful! I absolutely loved it! From what we learned in Spinner's End, it seems clear that there is a bit of history between Narcissa and Severus. I like your take on events very much! Well done!

Author's Response: I have to agree with you about Spinner's End--anyway it sure got me thinking. In any case, I really appreciate your review, especially as it comes from one of my favorite fan fiction authors! (P.S. I can't wait to see what Draco and Pansy get up to next....)
