This is the best story i've read on here!!! There was so much detail that i could picture what was happening in my head, and i could undersand the scene. Yeh he same as DownHill... i think it was that... i love how you showed his kindess hat he has today. I love this, congrats n having such good imagineation!!!

This is one of the reasons why I read Harry Potter fanfiction.
This is an outstanding, canon-worthy account of what happened to Remus as a child, showing the caring boy that we still see in the man. (It's amazing, after a life-time of the curse, how he is able to still stay human the other days of the month.) I like your descriptions of the moon: At the end of the story we know that his human eyes will never again look at it in its fullness. It explains, too, why the werewolf made his family his target, how hard his parents had tried to protect their son, and sheds some light (no pun intended) on how Fenrir has been able to attack other children before and since then.
A fantastic piece of work. Thank you so much for sharing.
Author's Response: Thank you for your kind comments! I'd never read any fanfic describing how Remus was bitten, and re-reading HBP made me wonder just how his father had offended Fenrir Greyback, as Remus told Harry during Christmas at the Weasleys. This story was the result.
