I must say that this is one of the best "missing moment" stories I've read involving Remus and Tonks. You portrayed everyone quite well. Their emotions were so real. Excellent job.
Author's Response: Thanks, jynx. I'm really glad you liked it. It was fairly easy for me to get into Remus, but Tonks was a little harder. I feel better about their relationship at the end of HBP after I wrote this, but I still don't 'get' it.

Author's Response: Thanks, gillsie. I really have to thank the admins for having this contest. I had kind of thought about writing this one after I did "It's Really Better This Way", but it never got much attention until the last week or so of the festival. I'm not much of a Tonks/Remus shipper, but some stories have to be told.
