Awww! I absolutely loved this. I can't get enough of Remus/Tonks fics. Not only was in incredibly well written, it made me think too. Now I'm eager to go back and reread HBP again for the twentieth time.

This was just lovely! I really like the idea of Remus and Bill forming a sort of coalition to get rid of Greyback. That is a very clever notion, indeed. Tonks was perfect--I like her strength and confidence in this piece.

All right, you know I really love that PMS reference, so that's all I'll say about that. I like how you underscored that, out of the fall of "omniscience" and "invinciblity", Remus moves through "uncertainty" into "possibility". Out of the ashes of defeat, and all the attending grief and hopelessness, he finally sees that love isn't something to be yielded or postponed because the circumstances are less than perfect. He notices that Arthur points this out, and doesn't miss the message, but my favorite part of this fic is your Dora, fragile and tender, but strong and capable, too. I thought it poignant and sad, too, that Dumbledore was so focused on Harry's future, that he'd deny him the comfort of a father-figure in the interest of his final destiny--he showed the kind of steel that Book 6 finally let us see, and it was nice to see that in a fic. You do characterization so well, J., it's just a pure joy to read it

I read this on another site and was blown away by it then. I realize that I forgot to leave you a review, sorry. But this is really very impressive, and gives you a lot to think about. Having a front row view of Remus' surrender was a nice way to spend the morning. I thought the scene where he realized she didn't need his protection was fantastic. I would love to read more about his future plans, and would also love to read about Remus and Bill taking Greyback down together.
