A very interesting take on these two thank you
Author's Response: Thank you for letting me know; I'm glad you liked it. :)
This is beautiful - I read it once, then straight away reread it - to experience it again!
Snape is perfect - completely in character with canon-Snape - you've been true to his darkness & his pain & his inability to be emotionally open, while still allowing some relief with that hint of the child in his half-smile. Lovely.
Author's Response: Thank you! :) I love writing Snape. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! And thanks for letting me know.
Marvelous, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this. You played the characters out brilliantly. Thank you for this.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed reading it! I really enjoyed writing it. :)
Wonderful. Honestly, this story captures the essence of magic. I adore and applaud your characterization of Snape. I think it's the truest form of who he really is that I may have ever seen in fanfiction. We see so little of his private life in canon but I definitely get the sense that this is who he is. Very well done.
I was a little concerned that I wasn't able to hear Lupin's voice coming through, especially toward the beginning of the story. He seems a little more subdued to me than I would imagine Lupin, however, I attribute this to his treatment after the war. It is very understandable that he may not be so confident and in fact a bit broken after such events. Altogether I have to give you a round of applause. This is very excellent story. A definite 10.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! :) Especially on Snape. That means a lot to me. :) I agree with you on Lupin: I found it difficult to write him in this broken situation while still keeping him in character as much as I could. I'm glad some of it was understandable -- believe me, I cut some that was even worse! ;P And I'm so glad this story is still somewhat readable after DH. Thanks for your kind comments. :)
Well done, I really enjoyed it and I like the idea of Snape as a kid at heart.
Author's Response: Thanks! Isn't everyone? ;) I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
