This is definitely one to add to my favorites list. Well written, enough twists and turns to keep you interested. Will there be either a sequel or a side story (Ginny and Severus)? I am also curious as to what happens to both Harry and Ron. On a side note, I have to agree with your a/n from the last chapter. I believe Severus only killed Dumbledore because he asked Severus to. Why else wouldn't Fawkes have shown up? He showed up when Harry needed him in the chamber of secrets.

This is the second time I have read this, and it was better than the first! I would love it if you wrote a continuation of Ginny and Snape's new forming relationship. I also must ask, I am writing a story about Snape and an OC, and I have gotten to an interesting bath scene, and was wondering if I could use the idea of the orgasmic lotions? Full credit would go to you of course!! But I always ask before using ideas. Great story!!

Thank you for the wonderful ending. It was quite the emotional ride and I can see how it would have been hard to write. I, too, was fearful that Lucius was truly dead, that was an amazing sacrifice. I'm glad that your muse reminded you who he was. I never saw Merlin's appearance coming, but it worked out well. Her cries of needing him to help her raise Hope were truly heartwrenching.
Thank you so much for this story and allowing me to believe that Hermione and Lucius could make a good couple. An update is coming soon for my own tale of the two. Truly, this was a beauty and the beast sort of tale and wonderfully done.

Author's Response: I do plan on a sequel... I mean, I left so much open... Severus and Ginny... and of course Hope has to grow up... I plan on working on the SS/GW relationship next, but I am not sure what site that story would belong in. I am glad you have enjoyed my plot. Beauty and the Beast has long been one of my favorite stories, and I was right, when I thought that Hermione and Lucius could play the parts so very well. Voldemort cannot be slain in my fan fictions...(that pleasure belongs to JKR) But I can cause the jerk pain! That was why I turned him into a Shade. He is still around, but it is almost like he is cast into oblivion until someone finds a way to release him... Or til Book seven comes out! LOL... Anyway... Thanks for the wonderful reviews!

Nope, not angry at the idea of Dumbledore's death being staged. It's my belief as well that Severus is acting on Dumbledore's orders and that Severus isn't evil and is protecting Draco on Dumbledore's orders. Anyway, please understand that I really honestly wasn't angry at Harry's outburst, just annoyed. I found it so refreshing in that chapter that neither one had over-reacted, and then in the next chapter, BOOM, Harry flies into a mega rage. Oh well. It's done and over with now. No biggie. I'm really enjoying this story. It's very well written and I'm most definitely pleased at the lack of spelling and grammatical errors. Thank you!

Oh, that evil Tom Riddle. I really hope that everyone is able to protect Hermione. I like that you didn't have Harry hold the grudge for too long, but long enough that it seemed very much like him....I like how the Ginny/Severus is playing out, especially him not wanting to leave her alone with Harry. As for Snape not really having killed Dumbledore, it works for me. I just have a hard time believing his evil, but that's just me...Eagerly waiting for more. :)

I do like how you are evolving Ginny... So many authors want to align her with Voldemort ala Chamber of Secrets but you have evolved her into so much more. I can't wait for the further chapters.

Interesting turn of events. I like the fact that Severus now knows that Ginny has feelings for him. The question is, what will he do with that information? Cool idea on the place being protected by love...Oh, poor Hermione. I can totally see her killing Peter in an attempt to protect her child. Good job on Lucius covering up for her, but I think this may come back to haunt her.
